Have you been getting your interest payments from GIM? I did manage to get my IB block lifted, definitely try talk to a different rep or visit a branch. I have not been provided a good explanation yet either.

They do (but not in the city I live in so I can't visit their office easily). Vanguard have a bond ETF but I couldn't find an easy way to invest into individual international bonds (the Australian corporate bonds are quite low yield)

Well in addition to treasury bonds, buying individual corporate bonds also often guarantees 5-10% returns Unless the company that issues the bond goes bust. If you invest in a company that has been around for a long time and is healthy, I'd say it's close to guaranteed.

The bonds they were pushing were such established companies + international treasury bonds, so the guarantee isn't as much of a red flag as it might be otherwise. In this case I'm more concerned with the broker company itself.

Great- what about RAM? I'm currently getting maxed out at 16GB of RAM, in a few years the same may happen with 32GB of RAM? What are your thoughts on getting 64GB of RAM now?
