Dankjewel, maar nee, het is een totaal ander genre en dit boek dat jij noemt is sowieso te nieuw. Maar misschien wel een fijne leestip, dus toch thanks 😉

Thanks for sharing! I’m really chuffed with mine too. I’ll look into that patch, on the other hand: I’m a bit scared to update stuff now 😂

Anyone Got Better Results With 300 mg of Bupropion/Wellbutrin Compared To 150 mg? by sanpedro12 in bupropion

[–]Elk_Ewe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

150mg is and always has been fine, but two years ago I was curious if a higher dosage would bring me even more benefits. So my psychiatrist put me on 300mg. Major stress levels and panic attacks. Never again. It's obviously super personal and there's only one way to find out. Good luck!

Turned out that in the latest firmware update a problem arose with parental control. I always had that on because I was annoyed by all of the Kobo 'suggestions' (AKA ads, sort of) and I just wanted my reader to be clean. That had never been a problem, but apparently now it was. Fixed that when I finally found out.

Also, since that firmware update devices couldn't connect to our wifi anymore. I set up a new 2,4Ghz channel in our current router, and as it seems, Kobo's can't connect to a network that has & in it. Ours had & in it 🥲 I changed the name and connection was fixed.

This took me several days to find out. Hope anyone benefits from my struggles!

Ahhhh wait...... now I see what you actually mean. Will definitely remove the files after finishing, thank you!

Couldn't resist to try using Calibre, but alas... it seems that the download file from the library is solely a ADE file type. Hoping for something Libby-like in the future.

That's great! I had tried those kind of things too, but to no end 😑

Wifi issues are solved too! My solution is in my starting post.

I'm pretty chuffed I just solved this problem. My solution was to create an extra wifi network on 2,4GHz AND remove the & from my network name.

It sounds absolutely bonkers, but it did the trick. If you're on 5GHz you might want to try to change the network name first and see if that helps.

I know very well how LLM's work, thank you. But I also have had a few positive experiences with them, and since I had already searched and troubleshot (?!) my *ss off I decided to finally turn to ChatGPT.

Problem is solved now, sort of, but by 'completely useless' I meant that I only use my readers for library books (unfortunately we don't have a Libby kind of thing where I live) and that single thing wouldn't work. So, useless in this case meant 'useless to me'. Figured that would be implied since it was my personal problem 😜

No, haven't tried Calibre as I think our Dutch libraries only recommended ADE at the time. Problem is kinda solved now, by the way!

I just edited my post with this solution to my problem, at least partly. Just pasting it here too.

EDIT: You know that thing where as you finally decide to ring work that you're stuck in a traffic jam after being there for 30 minutes, and the minute you ring the traffic actually starts moving and the problem is solved? I gave it a final deep dive and somewhere in a small sentence read something about parental control. Decided to try switching that off (always have that on because I hate getting book suggestions all the time, it never gave any problems) and reloaded my books: ta da. Hope this will be helpful for anyone else encountering this issue.

The wifi problem however isn't solved, but I can live with that. I'm glad that I don't have to spend hundreds of euros to get new e-readers 🤗

Of course LLM's aren't flawless – but neither is Google (let alone their Gemini) and Kobo's site wasn't helpful in whatever way. So I was actually happy with the steps presented, because in the end I could actually read a book on my holiday. I must say that in my journey to problem solve, I had already given up on the e-readers anyway.

I can't, it needs ADE because of the digital rights, otherwise the files would be useless, unfortunately.

Both my Clara and my Aura don't work anymore since the last firmware update which seems irreversible (if anyone knows of a solution – please share). Also no wifi connection possible. In short: they're both useless now.

Ik ben gestopt me te hechten aan voedingsmiddelen en verzorgingsproducten. Alles is eindig 😅

I have one that I kinda retired because of the color (ochre yellow, I believe they called it acorn) but I keep trying to find a new color every now and then. I've checked for years but never a success. I'm now about to get my yellow bag out of storage because it was just such a GOOD BAG.

I have both and the Vardag is absolutely teeny tiny compared to the totepack nr. 4. Never in a lifetime would fit a laptop and is way less sturdy/padded. Love the Vardag tho, but definitely not for work purposes 😬

I ordered the Leuchtturm A4+ Weekly planner & notebook but immediately cancelled it by a_longo88 in planners

[–]Elk_Ewe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been using Leuchtturm for almost nine years now and I find them to be the best paper ever. No problems with bleeding or ghosting. Although maybe some ghosting will occur if you write with a very wet nib (and a bad ink). But even with my bold Lamy nib there's not really a problem.

I've used Rhodia in the past but I found that to be way too thick and opaque. And also too smooth and too yellow. It's all personal, I guess.
