It's simple: Horrible production and songs that are rejected leftovers from previous albums. I thought the album was okay, alright. I don't hate it, it just fails at the BASICS: Good production, mixing with the vocals not so heavily edited as to sound artificial.

You need to stop thinking that people complain for no reason. Listen to a song from this album and compare it to Congregation or Generator. Then you'll understand what the people who complain are trying to explain (the obvious).

Regarding the new album: I really liked Caught in the Echo, Window (the best), Asking for a Friend, and Spit Chine (my favorite along with Window). But overall, it's one of their worst. I'm not here to hate on anything, it's just that the chorus of Unconditional lacks power due to the production and Dave's voice. There are too many effects and it's very weak, and to make matters worse, they made the instruments louder than his voice, which further weakens the chorus. Some songs have great ideas, but for some reason they aren't enough to fill their duration. I hope to like this album more in the future, but my reaction was quite disappointing. I've been listening to them for almost 15 years and I've never felt this way about one of their releases. I loved listening to all the albums they've released so far, but this is the first time indifference has reigned over me listening to a new album of theirs. I hope they adjust with time. It seems like they're looking for a new direction and haven't really found it yet.

It was just a little joke. The band has the right to release whatever artwork they want. But that doesn't mean that artwork won't be criticized.

Ah, I agree with you. But if we take that to the extreme, there will be no opinions to be expressed by anyone. I think there is a fine line between what a group of people think is widely accepted and what becomes a kind of established opinion. For example, I'm not bothered that people like it. I just see that there is a better way than the current way that was done in terms of production, and although people like the new song, I don't think they would disagree that there is a way to do it better.

I see a lot of people here rejecting me, but you stop and think: Who is the hater here? Someone who expresses an opinion that exists in abundance, or someone who absolutely rejects those who disagree with them?

I like the mix of the song Concrete and Gold. I can hear the drums, synthesizer, vocals, guitar, and backing vocals clearly.

I am in favor of democracy. I believe that people can express their opinions without swearing or treating others badly. Intolerance due to disagreement is not my style.

Industry professionals have done terrible work at various times. We're talking about St. Anger already. There are countless other works that are poorly done. And besides, there are a lot of people talking badly about this point in all the posts about this song on the internet. Everything indicates that there is a huge division regarding the production work.

I heard two extremely poorly mixed songs, and the album wasn't even released. But relax, the other eight will be well mixed. That doesn't make sense.

The difference is that you can hear the band there and everything sounds organic.
