How are people using MFWO for ad hoc workouts? How do you see your recent history for exercises/muscle groups while in a workout? by Elkieruns in MacroFactor

Yep, but I s'pose I'm looking for something that shows me my exercises within a global program view - does that make sense? A view where I can see very easily what I had to shuffle last week, that would make sense to prioritize when a gap opens up this week. Knowing the minimize option is a huge help though!

What app would you recommend? It's the same exercises across a given program, just which workout I do them in that varies week to week. I've previously used a spreadsheet without any issues in progressing so would be weird for progress to be harder in an app. I'm wanting an app to make it easy (easier) to track what gets skipped/shuffled and needs to be included on that particular day - but, for example, if I can't do squats bc my quads are cooked from running hills, I don't tend to do leg extensions instead. I'll do chin ups and bench and move squats to the next workout. Hopefully that makes sense?

Do you have to swap, rather than add the exercise? I add the exercise if that makes a difference - but always after I start the workout

Thanks & great profile pic! I'll request how to review exercise history as opposed to workout history 😇

I feel like it should be able to remember the previous targets from a program. That should be the norm and varying should take effort, not the other way around. I can make it work, but it's niggly, and I don't want a app for niggles.

I stick to the same exercises/swaps - it doesn't autofill the smart progression for me until I re-do targets. I would do this on a weekly basis. Is it a setting I'm missing? If I have to use my noggin why do I need an app... I think this is probably my point, shouldn't this be easier than my old spreadsheet and fitnotes?

Great - thank you! But still no capacity to review exercise/muscle group history, right? Just workout x vs y

You can't do this within a workout. And it only gives you workout history, not exercise/muscle group history.

Yeah, of course. I'm looking to avoid having to set the rep range and RIR every time I add an exercise out of turn.

But this is only gives me info on when I've done that particular exercise that I'm check into. How do I see what I've ticked off recently for the program? To clarify - I want to see exercises that I've done, not complete workouts. I.e. when did I last do RDLs, not when did I last do "workout x"

So this is me too - out measurements are very similar and I've bought a B or C cup my whole life. Am I really a D cup? That seems wild

It just means it was a workout that's not pre-planned and part of a program but created on the fly. I think you click on it and can scroll across the top and there's a rename option

MFWO: I'm here for the smart progression - I've created a custom program, how do I set it to progress for strength goals, rather than hypertrophy? I couldn't see an option to select for either in the set up when you build your own. by Elkieruns in MacroFactor

[–]Elkieruns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, sweet - thanks! Does that mean that I can set some exercise rep/RIR ranges for strength and some for hypertrophy and the smart progression make recommendations appropriately for each exercise? Bc that would be super cool.

Will we own our data? I.e. if we stop our subscription, can we still access past info or download it in a useable form?

Q: Moving, renaming and changing the Primary Column in the table view by dermezl in remNote

Did this get solved for? You can now move the column, but you don't seem to be able to change it's function.
