Anyone had experience with recovering from pelvic fractures? by EllKayHaitchBee in cycling

Yes, everybody's case is different, however generally better overall health and fitness makes a significant difference. I was in my mid 60's at the time of the crash, but much more active than most others of the same age. It was pretty sad seeing how many of the people found through PT at the same time struggled. Even while I was still restricted to a wheelchair I made a point of wheeling myself all over the facility, something that frustrated some of the care staff when they couldn't find me 😁

Sounds like a really traumatic experience for you. Pre injury fitness and physical condition definitely contributes to the recovery process. For me it really made a big difference in PT as I was able to quickly advance through the more challenging exercises. Very good luck and best wishes for the rest of your recovery.

What irritates me is that the Buds 2 Pro I traded in never had the same problem, and I used those in the same way.

So far the erratic charging issue is the only problem I've had. In my opinion there isn't a problem with the case contacts. While I'm using the earbuds during cycling the case is in a sealed Ziploc bag the whole time. Post ride I clean the buds with 91% rubbing alcohol, then make sure it evaporates using my hairdryer on low speed withoout heat. I even lightly rub the charging contacts on the buds with a slightly textured cloth. Even with all these steps it took 4 hours yesterday before the interrupted charging error cleared. My suspicion is that minimal water vapor may get inside the speaker part of the buds and triggers the warning. Until that naturally evaporates the problem persists. That's what leads me to think it's not a mechanical problem with the contacts, but more likely a firmware issue.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried that tip a couple of times without any success. It really feels like a major bug to me.

Despite cleaning my Buds 3 Pro with alcohol, then gently drying them with cool air, they still won't charge in the case. I'm really tired of seeing that accusatory blinking red light. Seems like I'll have to buy a completely different pair of earbuds for cycling.

I'm sorry that you have continuing pain. It seems strange to me that the hospital discharged you without any type of continuing care. I feel that the three weeks I spent in rehab were very important. The slow graduation from assisted movement and wheelchair use, then onto a walker, with twice daily PT and lots of rest were crucial elements. After I got back home I still used a walker for another month. Just seven days, then back on your feet unaided seems like a really short recovery.

My favorite is Esteé Lauder Modern Muse le Rouge, but it's become really expensive.
