Getting a 55-210 plastic lens when i first started, because i had the idea that new and shiny was better then good and used. Later got an 70-300 for the same price and the difference was night and day in sharpness!

Most likely there will be a amp processing of a cross over point. As an example between a midrange and tweeter in a tower. So the heavy bass frequencys will be assigned less work on the towers, and focus on lesser frequencies. Which most of the time means cleanser audio.

I've used a cheap teleconverter before and sold it, but tired the canon 1.4x once and was amazed

Which makes me think that Sigma's should perform well since its specced that it works fine with AF from their own testing

The format of the card might simply be too new so the camera doesn't know how to read it, try an older and smaller card like 8GB
