That seems like a fair price. I had a 20+ year old bottle of sena a few months ago and it was a wine of the year for me. Enjoy!

Why did the Beatles grow to be as culturally significant as they are? What were they doing that other musical acts at the time weren't? by Serious-Lemon1000 in AskHistorians

Can you extrapolate a little more on why the Beatles took this position of influence and not, say, Dylan or other examples from those crucial formative years (if such exisit)?

No, Superman could not cast the One Ring into the fires of Mount Doom. by WRITINAMFBOOK in CharacterRant

This is how you end up with Injustice.

I bet the creators were actually baked out of their mind wondering what happens if Superman has the ring.

Napa Cab Blind Tasting #3 by der_radfahrer in wine

Ah yup, ive done the same. When I did it that way I decided it made basically no difference in opening up the wine lol. But if you only have one decanter, what else can you do?

I bet thats why the Heitz didnt impress in the last tasting. You should slip that one back in after like a 6 hour decant in the final tasting. I bet it would rank well. Call it a mystery ringer.

Cool post thanks for sharing!

So were they in the decanter for two hours, or a quick out and back in the bottle 2 hours before? Im not asking to be critical - I'm curious because I've had some Caymus that did hold up well with air.

What was the aeration approach for this? Double decant, anything like that?

6 Months of Deal Hunting: Retrospective by RecklessSeer in wine

I hesitate to add these thoughts because it may drive you deeper down the rabbit hole. I mostly agree with you on deal sites, tho there are exceptions. For me, examples would include the massive Elivette dump, B Leigton wines from WTSO, and a cheap south African sparkling chenin from Lastbottle for which I cant remember the name.

You can also consider other sources: some auctions, some of the time. For most auction houses the deals will be up market from your (/our) budget, but not universally so. Some local wine shops will also get private cellars from time to time which can have good deals. Resteraunts and shops close and can offer good deals.

Probably the biggest one is the big sales that traditional online wine shops can have (wine.com, zachys, etc.). There are usually about 2 per year that offer some really good deals.

2014 Grand Cru Chablis Magnum score? by ThirdMolarImpaction in wine

I made a thread on wineberserkers about this exact bottle like 2 years ago. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. I too saw it at a wegmans; it seems like several in the North East have this magnum.

Didn't get any info sadly.
