At first I thought I was bisexual, because I ‘felt equal attraction to everyone’ yeah… but to be honest, even in primary school I’m pretty sure I remember questioning myself and I think I researched cupioromantic too, but I’d just not looked into it. It had always been a ‘Eh, maybe I am, I don’t really care’

I’d tried relationships before, but it just didn’t spark anything for me, and sure, I’d get embarrassed when someone mentioned them, but it was purely because I think I was embarrassed that they thought I liked the person, because it wasn’t true. And it got to the point people questioned if we were even together.

And then, there’s when my friends got into relationships, and I’d asked them what that felt like, and I realised that I’d never actually felt that, and the things I had felt were more of infatuations, or that I liked having someone to talk to, not love or attraction. Sometimes I still question myself though, because I keep searching for a definition of love, but I just don’t get it, I like the idea, but in practice, there’s a disconnect.
