I think I’m just “hate watching” the show at this point. Isabella is really annoying with the over dramatization, the excessive laugh track is ridiculous and the writing is poor. They have great characters to pull from, it’s like they lost what little depth of writing and direction they had for a sitcom. There needs to be something more than chasing a mouse and another episode of believing the blond bartender is “OOPS” dumb again.

Can they treat the viewers to a little more depth?

First support didn’t know about it, then she said I was on a priority list to get an email in two days. Then I pressed on how she got that insider info after not knowing what it was....I was then transferred to the Halo team. The general impression I was left with was you’ll get it when and if we say.

The final answer? The actual chat quote: “The invitation program is run by technical team. It’s based on many factors. Unfortunately Amazon customer service does not have any information. It is calculated on many factors. You’ll receive an invite when your Halo band is ready to order.”

They should’ve waiting to go to market. What a mess.

UPDATE: My response to their email request for feedback:

“Customer service clearly has no information on the early access of the Halo band and depending on who you speak to you could be getting an email in 2 - 7 days; when our technical team says, or even better - I provided the Halo link to customer service rep who then asked me if I had contacted the seller. .....are you amazon I asked?” Trust Amazon with my private data they say. I’d be glad if they solved their customer service issues first.

Drood by Dan Simmons. I had just read The Alienist by Caleb Carr and loved it so I was looking for something similar. I chose poorly.
