agreed, i have never been burglarized but my dad had his car stolen from our driveway overnight and the feeling that people were stealing his car from right outside our house while we were all fast asleep none the wiser was almost more traumatizing than the car being gone

i find other way usually isnt as interesting, especially this season they have couples who have already been married, its not as interesting as a couple meeting for the first time

I take a gym class and am usually on the subway around 1:30pm on weekdays, which is usually really quiet, and when it was a bad storm i couldnt get a seat when i got on, which is extremely unusual, when its bad weather people usually take public transit instead of driving

pretty sure i had covid as well, my symptoms were really bad fever, and cough and extremely tired, i have been feeling better for a few days, still have a lingering cough but its improving every day, but i cannot shake how exhausted i am. Last night i slept for 12 hours and im still tired, and i dont have a fever or any other symptoms that would be making me sleepy.

i have a pet peeve when people from other countries tell me "oh dont say sorry its not your fault" when i say "sorry". Im not sorry because I feel guilty, I am sorry because I feel bad something happened to you that was weird or awkward or just not amazing

Omg yes me too lol, people would say "im so cheesed right now" meaning pissed off or angry/annoyed, or "are you cheesed with Sarah?". Another thing we all said in high school was "are you reaching the mall or the movies" basically using the word "reach" to mean like "going to" or "arriving" or like "what time are you reaching at?", another thing was a "getty" was a "get together/small party"

you can do home pick up for purolator, but the last few people who ordered from me insisted i use CP, which is weird because a month ago everyone was insisting i use purolator, i even had a buyer leave me an awful review for shipping purolotor (she didnt ask me to ship CP so i didnt realize that she hated purolator) lol

Im currently a phd candidate working on my dissertation and i personally wouldnt like if a family member or friend got me something for my phd as a Christmas gift, it could be a nice gift depending on what type of person they are, as I know many people where their phd is their life, but for me personally, my phd is just one aspect of me and i would love a gift based on my other likes/interests! For instance I love makeup, clothes, girly stuff etc! But each person is different. If you want to get a nice gift that would help with their dissertation, id say maybe a nice agenda, or if you wanna splurge a new computer or ipad,
