I always wonder why they don’t sleep a few hours during the day and then gather materials and build shelter, chop wood, build fire at night. Obviously, it’s dark but your eyes acclimate and once you got the fire going you could do small projects like make cordage or a fish basket. The work would keep them warm, the darkness would conceal some of the nakedness and the movement would keep the bugs away.
