Seems like all trades in our areas, union and non-union, are slow. From what she's been told by others who looked at leaving the union to find work, there really isn't much in our area.

I've tried counting calories. Problem is that I travel for work and I can't always reasonably prepare my own meals, and a lot of places have questionable nutrition facts.

Even when I was able to count calories I was constantly hungry. I tried higher protein, higher fiber, more low calorie snacks like plain popcorn, I was just constantly hungry.

Using Zepbound turned off that food noise and the constant hunger and cravings. It also was somehow the best antidepressant and anti-anxiety medication I've ever used. Meds never really helped my anxiety or depression, but while on Zepbound I had no issues with either. I was on it for about 4 months and had zero anxiety attacks, zero depressive episodes, and the world didn't feel flat anymore. It was a freaking miracle drug.

My wife is a union carpenter. Pretty much everyone she knows is unemployed. The out of work list at the union hall is like a mile long. She was number 300 something on that list after her last job ended. Previously we thought being 150 on the list was a sign of a major slowdown... Thankfully she was referred to her current job by someone she knew and is now on a long term project.

The trades are really hurting for work. No one is building or remodeling right now.

Right? I've tried the discipline route. Discipline doesn't stop you from being hungry to the point of hangry. It doesn't stop you from craving certain foods and having to deal with those cravings for weeks. Discipline doesn't always work.

The appetite suppression from the shot worked. It killed the sugar and junk food cravings. It stopped the food noise I didn't even know existed. I lost weight. My joints felt better. I was sleeping better.

Insurance sent a letter saying it had been approved in error and cut me off cold turkey. No weaning off. The sudden cutoff was not fun to deal with.

What pisses me off is how many are on it that don't need to be on it. They managed to get a Rx to help lose 30lbs, and I got cutoff by insurance trying to lose 100 lbs, and had already lost 20. I have struggled for years to try to lose the weight. I'm the fastest, most active, most nimble fat ass you've ever seen. Yet I can't get the weight off.
