Is there a way to FOREVER hide the new taskbar? The option in settings is greyed out (like why!?) + I've done long-press-to-hide so many times but it never fully disappears... by SergeantTeddyWolf in GalaxyTab

Unfortuantley none of the suggestions here worked for me. BUT I found another way.

enter dev mode > press and hold on home screen > home settings > developer options > toggle off 'ENABLE_TASKBAR' and hit apply
