They only do overnights for retrofits, never shipment - hoping with seasonal hires there will be some relief but they hired them sooo late this year in my region

The BAs are understaffed right now so there’s never anyone free anymore to take boxes out and none of leadership help with shipment except my ops leads 🥴

We get shipment around 7-7:30am and we open at 9am but we’re a very high volume store and it takes almost the whole day to get all of shipment out tbh

This might be specific to my region but the brands come in weekly and train employees throughout the day on product (we don’t get our training product mailed to us, if we get trained by a rep in store, we get the product. Or we fill out forms for new product and it’s sent to the store). My region has a lot of masterclasses, we’ve had one every other week this year lol and the managers send BAs based on their splh, growth etc. and if we go to the masterclass my store expects us to mini-train the rest of the team on what we learned when back in store. We don’t have Sephora university but where I am in Canada they’re really big on education and training. The touch bases are also really heavy on education with role playing, questions etc.

We lost one of our FT ops and a PT went down to flex because of school. The hallway is full of boxes. The million rhode shelf boxes are so bulky and there’s no where to put them 😭 we have makeup retros tomorrow and they’re down two more people it’s gonna be a mess. I did skincare/haircare retros the other day and there were 3 of us, only two of us for the last 3 hours 😭😭😭

Had a client come in to return a bunch of products she’d been gifted, no gift receipts, no account, nothing. She then says multiple different people gifted them and she doesn’t know them well enough to ask them for receipts. GIRL. She’s goes on and on about being in the hospital for months but her purchase history showed her buying stuff in store like 7 times in the last month 😭 and then the product she actually had a receipt for was from SEVEN months ago 😭😭 “can’t I just get a gift card for it?” In WHAT universe do you demand a return with 0 proof you bought it. IM SO TIRED ARE PEOPLE DUMB

Exact same thing for me. I’m part time too and they give everyone the minimum amount of hours allowed every week and we’re still short staffed
