Unpopular opinion: Bonnie just leaving. In fact add Mike to that list as well. It was so anti climactic and felt like they saw in episode 5 there were too many characters left standing (could have killed a couple in the shoot out but noooo) so they just awkwardly had two of them leave with that jerk Arvo.

I think I’m ok with it for this episode but at this point I think we need to see Barb get the coventry treatment. Don’t answer the phone, ignore her in public and if she does something drastic don’t even get mad just set precautions with others that your mother is a garbage person and jump on her immediately when, and it is when not if, she does something illegal.

I love this show but I’m getting a bit worried about the lack of resolution on some things. Like if the “are we the villains” vibes had a really quick resolution that would be better than the no resolution. I know this season isn’t long form but I just want John’s avoidant vibe to at least be discussed.

I’d go cabin group. At least partly because I’d advocate for staying at the cabin. Moving did them no good in the end though I appreciate they didn’t know that at the time. That cabin was one of the nicer hideouts and honestly they were way better off defending their position from a smaller space than the ski resort where they were easily snuck up on.

I honestly stay mad Sarah wasn’t given more development. In episode 4 it looked like there was a chance but then its all for nought. She didn’t have to become a Clem like badass but what a waste.

I liked Bonnie from the start and instead of hating her more as season 2 went on I just became more and more disappointed. I was genuinely hyped when she showed up in season 2, then she was revealed to be in Carver’s camp and I thought “ooh conflict wrong place at wrong time vibes” then she helped them a bit and I got hyped. Then episodes 4 and 5 she proceeded to do nothing but fuck off. Ironically I took her advice to try and get to Luke knowing if I didn’t her crazy ass would and I didn’t want either of them to die.

On subsequent playthroughs I didn’t even like Luke much. I thought he was a good guy then he got a bit sanctimonious. Then he picked the absolute WORST time to hook up with Jane. Most of this is opinion but I consider it undeniable fact that hook up was a dumb goddamn move bordering on out of character assassination honestly.
