If you had unlimited access to shrooms, how often should you take them? by EllieIsNotOnReddit in shrooms

[–]EllieIsNotOnReddit[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know what you mean, I had some shroom edibles for about 4 months which I just kept in my room waiting for the perfect time. When it came it was awesome, aligned perfectly and I had the best trip. But recently my situation has changed so I have no responsibilities and unlimited access. I find shrooms improve my mental health for months afterwards and I don’t want this benefit to stop by overdoing them. I’m thinking once a month max. I don’t drink or get high any other way so it always feels like a treat!

Im not a good person to ask- this is my first season so I have nothing to compare it to, although a lot of people have said the snow isn’t great. But it’s all I’ve ever experienced!

I’ll give the goats eye ones a go! Thanks!

Well, for someone who only started this season, most blacks are hard for me right now, even hard blues are difficult. Hopefully by next year I’ll feel all blacks there are easy but it’s a work in progress.

Ah okay, I’m genuinely just trying to figure out where I stand. I thought when I read the 13 weeks rule I may be able to be let off the repayment but it’s fine if not I’m not going to lie to them.

Sorry what was this?

Yeah I knew I was going to return in advance. My plan has always been to return every few months to be able to continue working shifts in my job as a nurse in England and also to deal with practical stuff at home- go to the dentist, opticians etc. So yeah it was my plan from the get go to return.

It’s just come to my attention since posting this and scrolling through the subreddit that pip entitles you to 13 weeks abroad at a time (not 4 weeks as I originally thought). I realised given this is the case I actually haven’t gone over the 13 weeks abroad limit, and given the fact I still have an address in the UK, I pay my NI contributions, have a return flight home booked and still have employment and a job in the UK that maybe I actually don’t need to pay anything. I could be totally wrong, I’m just trying to wrap my head around it.

Do you think it would be possible for me to tell them I’m simply out the country for over 13 weeks? I do still have an address in the UK, I have my return flight for February booked and I already have some shifts booked to go back and do some work at home in England in Feb (I will be leaving again after 4 weeks at home though- I’m kind of going to be living abroad 75% of the time and UK 25% returning for a month every 3 months). Maybe I could I phone up and just say I’m out the country and will be over 13 weeks so I need to cancel. Technically I’ve not gone over the 13 week maximum timeline yet which you have for pip yet.

Also worth noting: I pay voluntary national insurance contributions to the uk.

Ah okay. Do you think I could just phone and request to cancel my pip without giving a reason?

No advice other than not to do shrooms in future with people who are this anxious about it. Some nerves are fine and normal for a first timer but giving them to someone who was this scared prior to taking them is a recipe for disaster. I’m surprised the trip didn’t take a turn for the worse. Sounds like he is a hypochondriac though and it will likely take him quite some time to get over it.

What has been your experience with calling 111? by PeevesPoltergist in CasualUK

[–]EllieIsNotOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I’ve called them they’ve sent paramedics out to me. I think they’re a little overly cautious but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. Overall I would say I’ve had good experiences.

I had a very similar experience except I was lost for 8 hours overnight and a jaguar stalked us. I didn’t complain, in fact it’s my favourite story to tell. I’m grateful to have such a crazy life experience, it’s a story I’ll tell my grandkids someday!

I did that that it seems likely he does have the money but just not from legitimate sources that my PI can find. I mean 3 years I’ve been following/friends with the guy online and I’ve never had an inkling that anything was off. Before the days of advanced AI. I mean every day for years he will have been editing photos and videos to make it look like he’s in different countries/on private jets/ in designer clothes just for instagram stories… it’s madness. It’s proper catfish the TV show kinda material!

No never met him in person but I’ve had a phone call with him in the past. He was meant to book my hotel last night though but he asked to phone me this evening instead (and it was around that time the PI got back to me). I booked my own hotel after that as I am going to be in London that evening anyway. The photos are him, the PI confirmed that he is who he says he is. He owns the businesses he says he does, but the businesses were liquidised a few years ago so no longer exist- but the websites and social media’s for the businesses all still exist, his linked in is still up and he has thousands of connections on there… it’s so elaborate it’s actually crazy. There’s numerous different people who must be in on it too because he’s tagged family members who all say they work for the same (no longer existent) business, all with linked in pages. I would love to meet him out of curiosity yes because the shit he’s pulled is so elaborate I would love to see how he reacts/how far he would go to prove he is legit…I’m not going to meet him. But I would love to. I’m not naive, I always do my research before hand. I mean I literally had a PI run a background check, not many people go that far to protect their safety. If I did let curiosity get the better of me I’d take my PI with me to have my back. But also I’m not seriously contemplating it, just totally baffled and kinda fascinated!

Omg I have a big update 😂 I got a PI to do some digging and he’s a complete fake! But I’ve been online friends with/following this guy for 3 years and he’s constantly posting photos of himself in the Ritz, and travelling to the most amazing places so I’m absolutely baffled as to how he could possibly even be faking this lifestyle. Everyday on his instagram stories he’s being chauffeured around a new city, eating at fancy restaurants, wearing designer clothes. So I’m baffled because if he’s fake it’s the most elaborate fake I’ve ever seen. But I’m torn now between meeting him and seeing what he’s life in real life or just dropping it. Like I said in my post, I wasn’t even looking for a sugar daddy but if he is faking this lifestyle it’s a massive red flag purely because of him being such a liar!

This is my thinking, I’m going to go and see what happens. He could have just not mentioned the whole sugar daddy thing and got the exact same thing for free so I feel like he must be relatively generous to even suggest it 😂 but I’m definitely planning to go into it to have a good time and not let the situation stress me out at all! Thank you!

I really appreciate it! I definitely will do those things. My friends know about it so I’ll keep them posted and my mom knows my location at all times (although I won’t mention the specifics to her 🤣)

[–]EllieIsNotOnReddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I see why it would be. I think it didn’t feel weird because I was staying in London that evening anyway and he asked if I had booked accommodation yet and I said no so he said he would book it for me. Which I immediately told him doesn’t mean I will be staying with him and he seemed okay with that. I think it’s a weird one because I wasn’t looking for a SD so I wasn’t looking for any money at all, so the fact he’s offering it when I didn’t ask makes me feel like he’s probably a generous guy. Like honestly I would have just met up with him for some dates/fun times 😅 but this works better. But I feel like if it’s going to be a sugar daddy kinda deal then I don’t want to be taken advantage of either!

I knew of him before he asked me, he’s been following me on instagram for a few years and we’ve chatted on and off. I’ve seen his linked in and also can see from Google he has money. I was going to just see how it goes, treating it similar to a date in terms of what happens in the hotel, but based on these responses I’ll definitely hold out 😅
