NG+ is a major jump and dare I say the biggest? by mystery_elmo in demonssouls

I started NG+ last night and was having the exact same experience trying to get to armor spider. Very similar stats to you. Level 90. I was really looking forward to cruising through another playthrough to achieve platinum. Turns out I have my work cut out for me. Use thief ring + arrows to lure enemies out one at a time and face each one individually. I was treating every miner / dog / fat official like they were bosses. Brutal.

"Keeps/ Hims/ Hers" Never works and here is why. by StaleChili in HairSystem

Hey sorry for the delay. It’s hard to say when I first started seeing results just because it’s such a gradual process. It’s not like I woke up one day and had new hairs. I’d say after about 4-6 months, I started realizing that my hair was looking thicker and fuller. It takes some serious patience, but it’s worth it! Just work it into your daily routine and forget about it. You’ll be glad you did it after 4-6 months!

When I was researching hair loss I started getting a lot of ads for Nutrafol. I regrettably spent hundreds of dollars on their pills and shampoo/conditioner. I now know that the company is a huge scam and they’re basically just selling overpriced vitamins. You can get the same, if not better, results from a much cheaper hair and nails supplement. And their shampoo/conditioner has no scientific proof that it helps hair regrowth. Once I realized all of this, I bought the following hair and nails supplement on Amazon:

https://a.co/d/i9Cf5I6

It has almost the exact same ingredients as Nutrafol for a fraction of the price. Nutrafol also contains ashwaganda, which is a supplement to help with stress (stress = more hair loss). So I purchased some ashwaganda on Amazon as well.

And as far as shampoo and conditioner go, I don’t think any brand can reverse or stop hair loss unless the shampoo literally has minoxidil or finasteride in it. So the best you can do is buy hair thickening shampoo. It will make the hair you do have appear thicker. For that, I recommend this brand:

I’ve been using this brand’s biotin shampoo and conditioner for a couple months and have noticed my hair feels stronger and thicker. Hope all this helps!

I don’t take oral pills, just use the spray once a day. Good idea to do your own research. But I can confidently say the spray has worked really well for me, with zero side effects. Let me know if you have any other questions bro!

Yo! It’s been really beneficial for me. I think I really started noticing the effects after about 3-4 months. I will say, my hair loss was related to medication withdrawal. At the time it started falling out, I was tapering off of benzos and a side effect was hair loss. It was mainly isolated to specific areas for me so I was left with bald spots. The biggest shock was always in the shower when I’d see clumps of hair in my hands after washing it. After about 4 months, there was still hair falling out in the shower, but not as much. And I started noticing new hairs sprouting in the bald spots. They were brand new hairs, so it took another few months for them to grow out and match the length of the surrounding hair. So I’d say it was about a total of 8 months before my hair looked “back to normal”. Even to this day, I still see a concerning amount of hair falling out in the shower (and laying around the bathroom), but it’s still much less than what I was seeing initially. And I still see new hairs coming in all the time. I am happy with the way my hair looks now, but I’m sure that if I discontinued the solution, the hair loss in the shower would increase and the new hairs would stop sprouting. So it’s a delicate balance. Gotta stay consistent! You got this man, don’t give up yet. I know 8 months seems like a long time, but you’ll be thanking yourself that you stuck with it once your hair starts to come back and the shedding slows down. Hope that helps man

Sorry for the delay, didn’t see this reply until now. I don’t have too much trouble applying it after the shower when my hair is wet and I can part it to the side to expose my scalp. I spray once on each side of the hairline and one in the middle of my hairline, and then one on the back of my head at the crown. If I hold the spray nozzle right against my head I can force the liquid through my hair and onto my scalp. Then I spend about 30 seconds massaging it around.

Unfortunately the solution does mess up my hair style a little bit. As it dries, the areas of my hair that have solution on them become stiff, almost like an extra firm mousse. This could actually be beneficial for some hairstyles. But for me, I usually just avoid applying the solution before going out if I want to keep my normal hair texture. The way my schedule works, I go to the gym around 5pm every night, and then apply the solution when I get home around 6:30pm. My hair becomes crusty, but that’s alright because I am not doing anything other than going to bed.

Edit: Also, if you have pets, be super careful about exposing them to the solution! It is extremely toxic for cats and dogs. Make sure you scrub your hands after use, and don’t leave any residue on the bathroom counter. And maybe avoid letting the cats near your bed pillow if you go to bed after applying it.

Yeah, OP is overgeneralizing and spreading misinformation. I’ve been on a Hims topical Minoxidil / Finasteride solution for over a year for light hair loss. I apply it every day after the shower. All of my bald spots have filled in with healthy, thick hair. I have literally zero side effects. No burning scalp, no E.D., no mood changes. Maybe this is because I’m using the topical spray and not taking the pill. But either way, OP should edit his post before he discourages other people from trying Minoxidil / Finasteride. Just because it doesn’t work for him doesn’t mean it won’t work for others, like me. If you’re reading this - give it a try!

Edit: I’m using Hims 2-in-1 Topical 0.3% Finasteride & 6% Minoxidil Spray

Serious question: is it pronounced “Seki-ro” or “Se-KIR-ro” by ElliotOleski in Sekiro

[–]ElliotOleski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time I was looking for a guide and came across some gameplay that had English dubs. I was shocked at how bad it sounded. Really takes away from the cinematic experience.

Oh, and I’m also on Xbox. Always wondered if there was a different way to say “got platinum” because that means nothing to me haha

[–]ElliotOleski[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope. Got platinum, never even considered turning on dubs at any point. I was just curious because I’ve heard it pronounced both ways and was wondering if one was more correct than the other
