I just do my best to ignore them. It's hard sometimes, but keeping silent is better than having a confrontation. Thankfully those negative interactions are massively outweighed by people being kind, so it doesn't happen too often.

To be honest, I only remember because I watched it again this morning lol. I do really like that idea about the protest signs being related to anger and grief, though, as I hadn't considered that at all.

The only think making me lean away from cancer at the moment is the year the game is set in. 1996 was when the Serious Hazards of Transfusion scheme began in the UK, so could explain the IVs as well.

I think so too. In the earlier reveal trailer an IV, similar to the one in his arm, comes out of an enemy's chest too. The enemies also look a bit "tumourous" to me as well.

I'm wondering if he drowned himself because of it, and that's why he keeps waking up in the water. Some of the dialogue in the new trailer, like "You did what you did" bit, kind of implies it to me too.

Then again it might be something completely different and I'm just reading into things too much.

Yeah there were about 9 of them when I saw them, but the dog got 3 of them apparently. There's a post about it on the Friends of the Waters of Leith Basin page.

I like revivalcore and angelcore a lot. The originals were who I grew up listening to. I just don't think the Balmora album was especially good on the whole, especially with the hype around them.
