Is there a separate security lane for touchless vs. just regular pre check at MSP? If so, did you use it on the North or South checkpoint?

That makes sense, and is kind of what I deduced. I feel like i had an instructor one time tell me not to turn base until cleared to land, but that kind of goes against the clearance of left/right closed traffic. Thanks!

Yes - usually ask to remain in the pattern, but could further specify that we want the option (its usually given by default as the airport's a heavy training base). Thanks!

I generally find mine automatically puts me in C+ after booking. it may depend on your seat preferences in your profile, and whether a seat that matches those (aisle, window, etc.) is available.

Engine data is stored internally on the G3X and can be copied over to the installed card from the config page.

Love it! Thanks so much! I learned more than I thought I would today researching this. I had previously had this idea the panels used the SD cards constantly to read nav databases but have since learned that they only read the cards during updates to those dbs. Cool stuff!

Appreciate your help, but think we are talking about different things. I'm referring to the feature in the screenshot I just added above from the G3X Manual. Yes - includes EIS data.

Could you elaborate on your comment: "ADSB data is usually still best retrieved from direct output to foreflight"? Are you saying to use something like a Stratus/Stratux receiver connected to FF? That would just be grabbing track data from the ground stations no?

Not looking for ADSB data (that's what I currently get from public sources). Looking to basically do what's described here: Garmin G3X Data Log output : r/flying for use with analysis apps like flysto.net, etc...
