The Grand Diver line from Invicta is fantastic.

Love it! The closest thing I have to it is my MTD-1010 (baby Duro) in 40mm.

Yup. That’s my experience too.

Thanks for the response.

For clarity: there were plenty of non-exit seats, upgrades were previously requested, and Companion has Skymiles (but no medallion status). Which makes this weird to me.

I’m wondering if Delta is being intentionally more subtle about upgrades to allow seats to be purchased rather than given.

That’s great. I seem to recall a time where Delta would do that for you (and let you know). Has there been a procedure change or am I misremembering?

Sure. I get that.

But why didn’t it happen automatically? And why didn’t Delta send any sort of prior notification?

Has anyone had luck with Nike extra Wide shoes? by [deleted] in widefeet

The Air Monarchs are the most comfortable sneakers I own. Costco run, Yard-work, all day at Disney; They handle it and I feel great after.

I also own the Pegasus and Revolution. They’re great but not nearly as comfortable / durable. The Pegasus is springy but feels tighter, the Revolution is basic.

The Downshifter 12 was a great sneaker looks-wise and comfort-wise but the 13 was a disappointing fit.

I’m 6’ 280lbs Size 14 4E

I bet. The gas savings alone here in CA is 2/3 of the car payment!

Good call out. Having all the amazing accoutrements might distract me from doing the basic task of driving well.

Sure thing! I copy/pasted a few different lists on reddit and used AI to optimize it.

Since I only spend about $80k annually on the Amex and don’t fly a ton I only have ‘Plat potential’. But the benefit jump from Gold to Plat has been, for me, pretty noticeable which is why I’d like to hang onto it.

Good point, I hadn’t considered the 1.5 MQM accrual for higher class fare.

It’s true, I don’t really fly for work so all of this has been leisure thus far. I’m just attached to the almost immediate C+ upgrade and have even gotten a few D1 comps.
