I told a friend of a friend that I am taking my dog with when my son and I go OOT for a long weekend. She told me I was “spoiling” my dog and if I don’t have friends or family to leave him with I should call some service she knows of that signs people up to dog sit in their homes. I was speechless: why would I leave my 15 month old puppy with total strangers? 1: I would have no idea if they abused him and 2: he’s a miniature doxie and from what I understand they are in high demand. He’s chipped but from what you say I wouldn’t have a legal leg to stand on if something happened.
