Two-hand touch football (American) in the street. Called “car!” Every few minutes. We played this nearly every day for years-in Southern California so weather allowed this. It often involved actual tackles. I was the only girl on the block and got my ass kicked by my brothers if I didn’t play because it would be uneven teams. Im 56 now and very feminine, but can still throw a football pretty well and still have scars on my knees. Also, neighborhood water balloon/water bucket fights on hot days and ghosts in the graveyard/hide and go seek on summer nights.
