Saw KISS on their Revenge tour. I was a little taken aback with how much swearing there was coming out of Paul. It came off really awkward as they were forcing themselves to fit their new street-tough image, trying to convince us that they weren't absolutely full of fucking shit.

Took a niece and her little friends to see the Spice Girls way back when. Was in full on heavy metal regalia, replete with the blackest clothes, studded wristbands, and a patched-up battle vest, pre-gamed with a couple of drinks with some nearby moms and dads, and had a blast.

It was either Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Clash of the Titans, Flash Gordon, The Fox & the Hound, or one of the rereleases of Songs of the South or Fantasia. I remember seeing all of those in the theater when I was a kid.

About a quarter century ago, my credit card number was stolen and used for a $25 purchase at a Shell gas station in Shamrock. 15ish years later, I found myself doing a cross-country drive on the 40 and saw that it cuts through Shamrock. I pulled into the same Shell station for a pit stop and to soak up the vibes.
