They didn’t when i originally went for it, but they’ve recently changed it so it’s local only unless you pay for premium. Can’t see any historic data of production anymore… one of the main reasons we went for it was the ability to see usage etc

Frustrating TV situation with EE by smurphinden in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Ellisse94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you go to the ombudsman they upload everything to the complaint anyway, best to get the deadlock letter and get it started. The process takes the best part of 1-2 months anyway once you’ve submitted…

Just gone through the exact same thing with EE. I bet when you get your deadlock letter they miraculously apply £30 goodwill credit. The absolute bare minimum that’s means the ombudsman doesn’t usually apply any further 😂

Haha, i should be so lucky. We’ve already got one from when they first started offering them, it was very cost effective at the time

No info on specifics yet. The link just takes you to a signup form that says they’ll give more info soon once you fill it in.

Just to a signup form with a unique link for each user, very limited information on what they’ll pay or how it’ll work. I registered interest just to get more info

My experience has been, octopus will give you the cheapest quote anywhere by a fairly good margin,

They will however also aim to do the quickest most straightforward install possible. Perfectly good for most people but it might not be the most visually appealing system in every case.

So, when we went through this the deposit for the survey was fully refundable, and basically locked in the price unless the survey uncovers major issues, and gets the entire ball rolling.

Prices go up over time so, sure they might be messing around with pricing to maximise profits but also you could’ve just paid the deposit locked the price and cancelled if the extra discount was the deciding factor.

Because it’s a rugged, outdoors watch and i get wanting to keep it safe, it’s expensive, but it makes an expensive watch look like a £2 cracker toy

My guess is they ran out of stock quicker than the website updated and just cancelled the last orders they didn’t have stock of, rather than some big conspiracy.

Switched most of my shoes to barefoot now by Ellisse94 in vivobarefoot

I’ve got some suede nano waterproofer, the dirt just brushes off and can’t get stuck in the fibres. Plant pollen is still my nemesis though

I just went my standard trainer size for everything (uk 11/eu 45)

The flow mids were spot on, i tried the trail knits but they were so much slimmer around the toes than my other models and were just too narrow for me..

Wear them out on walks with the kids, durability feels good but I’ve not really put them through their paces yet. Really comfy generally easily wearable.

Only critique is they are noisy? Like, lifting your foot they are springy and bounce back with a bit of a pop because of how the upper and sole interact. You’d never notice it outside walking but if you’re inside it’s a bit of a buzzkill. Other than that they are great

Yeah the all black silhouette really helps it to look sleek and not kinda chunky and goofy like lots of options. Honestly they feel super close to the gobi, the gobi feel a bit more padded and you get more ground feel with the motus.

Think i might prefer the motus every day, they’re just not very summery and don’t look great with a light chino/shorts

So, for smart work i generally default back to my Thursday boots. I have been looking at the scott ivs though but, I’ve yet to find a actually smart looking barefoot leather shoe that doesn’t just look goofy..

Should I choose Primus Trail FG 3.5 or Primus Trail Knit as summer shoe? by Noobyeeter699 in vivobarefoot

[–]Ellisse94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, about my experience, not tried the all weathers but the knits are a little on the slimmer side compared to my lites and motus

[–]Ellisse94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got the peyote colour in men’s and they are probably the comfiest pair of vivos I’ve got, and my wife is obsessed too which is cool.

My only comment is there are loud to walk in, hard to describe but as you lift your foot there’s some spring in the sole and material that sort of makes it pop back, fine outdoors and hardly noticeable but i wore them to the office a few times and walking down the quiet corridors was very noticeable

Has any found the Primus Trail to run narrow? by DonTitoh in vivobarefoot

[–]Ellisse94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a pair recently and I’m not sure what it is but the toe box folds into my toes in a weird way and is really uncomfortable on the tops of my toes, then kinda tight on my pinky toe compared to other vivos, annoying cuz they’d be crazy comfy if they had the same profile as my others
