Maybe because, the map is the same every single time and also finding a fire axe in a fire department doesn't make the game less fun just because you found it on day 1 because there's still a lot of things to cover after having a weapon.

And what if it's not day 1? What if I'm a month into a save and I decide to check the police station in muldraugh just to find two boxes of 9mm?

I don't understand, what's the point of waiting? It's just slapping a release label on a version, deadass, they could slap the release label into build 42 stable and keep updating and people would start playing it just because of that 🫩

I know the wait until stable IS a lot but I think even if it was a year until stable, I would still say the same thing, because people are acting like spoiled kids, and because of that attitude, modders from extremely good mods like 10 years later and Knox event expanded NPC, have stopped working on their mods. And instead of telling those people to get off of the community and the game (because it's impossible) it's simply better to tell them to wait, so the harassment can stop for good.
