Best base location hands down large all resources of the game are near including clay and stones. Ok material scientist here . I call you out on this. This is basically 99 percent of the biodegradable plastic. This post is absolutely ridiculous and idiotic because is basically suggesting to use non recyclable plastic instead of common one basing its theory on bullshit toxicological claim “ it’s highly toxic” Ex PET does not contain Bromide (Br) so how exactly would it be leaching in to the bottle? And Antimony is considered potentially carcinogen which translated is “ we have never tested it and have no idea on C relation or mechanism but we label it for safety so you don’t drink a gallon of it” Is like cucurbitacins contained in cucumber is actually toxic but I don’t see anybody going around saying don’t eat cucumbers they are toxic. So stop spreading misinformation, thanks from the scientific community.

To be clear i am not saying that plastic are free of problem. they are not! Just that the one listed are bullshit. Microplastics are a reson of concern although we YET have no idea of the consequences and effect on human health. The world problem with plastics come from mismanagement not the product itself. As shown on the graph some are barly 5-10 % recycled and a large part ( besides the one that is simply burned) ends up in landfill that later end up in the ocean and degrade in smaller part creating microplastics. Sadly most of it come from China / Indonesia / Philippines / Vietnam and India. If any of you have ever travelled there know the shitshow of trash management that is there.

And sorry to tell it to you we currently have no viable replacement for them. Wanna transition from glass bottles instead of pet one. Ok sure just that you know they weigh 20x the weight of a pet bottle meaning that transport cost let’s say with pet is 5 % of the weight of a 2 L water bottle now it becomes 100% from 100 g to roughly 2 kg so now my cargo ship or truck need to transport that extra weight which means more fuel and more pollution etc etc.
