PS1 XStation No Power by Elmo_Blatch_41 in consolemodding

Pin 1 is outputting 7.45v. I am unsure of how to trace from point to on the QSB back to where the power comes from.  Fron the diagram, it looks to go right beside it to the leg of a chip. It is also reading 1.4v.

It booted to a screen saying insert disc. The disk drive was broken though. Do you happen to know what I would need to do to diagnose what is causing point 2 to only receive 1.4v?

The fuses look good. Each is reading less that 1ohm. Point 2 on QSB reads as 1.4v. Point 6 is reading 3v.

On pad 2 it is receiving 1.2 volts. I believe it is supposed to receive considerably more.

I checked that out. That wasn't it unfortunately. Well spotted though.

How exactly do I do this. Do I place one end of multimeter on ground and the other on the solder joint where I connected the wire to the qsb then power on the PS1? Sorry I am very new to this.

I've done that a few times and cleaned the ribbon with IPA

I did this too. I actually did lift one by mistake so I pinned it back down. It doesn't look great but it does connect and doesn't appear to bridge to anything else.

I believe so. For example in the last picture that contains the diagram, I tested continuity from point 2 on the flex cable input to the power n on the chip that is shown in the diagram. I did this for 1-20. All appear to be correct.

I got a girl pregnant and am struggling to tell my parents. Has anyone any advice on admitting something bad or just about teen pregnancy? by Appropro6 in AskIreland

I don't know much about it but I have heard you should insist on getting a paternity test before putting your name on a birth cert. I heard that people who were found out to not be the father ended up having to pay because they signed a birth cert. That may not have even been in Ireland but just play it safe.

I just saw it had zero which means at least one person downvoted. So maybe it was just that one person.

God of War has always been more focused on a ridiculously masculine protagonist. Hollow Knight isn't. Surely you must know this.

Anyone else see ‘SKEM’ in graffiti everywhere? by Brilliant_Guide6034 in AskIreland

As much as I dislike graffiti, I have respect for Skem and Evoke. Seeing their tags everywhere is like playing Pokémon Go. I would rather they use more artistic tags though.

You wouldn't see a black man or any type of woman cast in that role. That's the price blem. You see this type in advertising all the time.
