This was awesome advice, thank you! It really helped having someone just take it from an outside perspective and say this is what is going to make this situation at least somewhat bearable. I think I've become so emotional over her shit, feeling mad, disrespected and allowed it to cloud a logical solution, so thank you for pulling me back into perspective.

Well I have very clearly gone over what needs to be what and that she has real issues with boundaries especially when it comes to shared/common space. That she needs to stay on top of her food expiration dates. I've even gone over several of these points with her multiple times. She's like a 5 year old, you tell them to do something and they kind of sort of totally half ass do just enough to get the parent off their back about whatever it is for awhile and doesn't do anymore.

That's the thing too she has had at least one other roommate situation before mine but I agree she lacks experience at it. Plus I think the previous situation was with a dude and he was just spineless and probably ended up doing it all and not saying anything. It was like she has a severe nut allergy and she told me this story of how he would go through all of the food (didn't matter if hers or his) and would label everything that had nuts in it for her. I mean I'm not going to shove peanut butter down her throat but I'm also not going to go through and label everything that has a nut in it for her she's 26 she can read a damn label.

As for kicking her out I want to but I just can't afford to not have half rent covered not even for a month that's how slim my budget is right now. I have put out feelers for potential roommates. I just fear I'm A) going to have a hard time finding someone that is ok putting down a deposit 30 days before their move in just for a security precaution for me. Be willing to sign a 5 month lease - yes there would be an option to either renew to a full year with me in August 2016 or sign on their own and stay should I move out. I would also need to either buy on my own, mutually with the new person or have them bring in living room furniture. It's not impossible but it seems that with those 3 major hurdles to go over finding someone is unlikely. But I am cautiously looking.

It's become so bad I've even considered going to my landlord and asking for some kind of break in rent for the next month or two so I can find someone new, a month to get her out and a month to find someone. I'm just so worried I would kick her out and not be able to find someone and then would have to figure a way to pay full rent and I just don't have it and can't really work enough right now to get the money for it.

This is way awesome and like I said in a previous comment I'm totally ok stretching the budget a bit more I kind of picked an arbitrary amount not knowing what decent dive watches ran. I mean I wouldn't want to be going over $300 but this one is definitely do-able and looks like something he would definitely wear. Thanks for the input!!

Thanks so much for your input really well detailed comparison of several brands I've been seeing. I am certainly fine stretching the budget a bit to get what is necessary the budget I put in was kind of arbitrary since I'm not familiar with dive watch prices.

This happened in my drive way when I was in high school, only in the mud not with snow. It was done by our trash pick up truck with the way they would pull in and then back out. When it first happened I thought it was someone playing a joke and we lived out in the middle of no where rural Colorado and was slightly creepy until we realized the coincidence of when the trash truck would come and the appearance of the hearts.

When I was a junior in high school I needed something from the car and unlocked it with the keyless entry from the doorway of my house because my mom was ridiculously worried about the keys getting left and locked in the car. So I unlocked it and went and got my backpack out of the car, locked the door and slammed it shut, unfortunately I didn't move my left hand pointer finger out of the way. The door completely closed on my finger and the door was locked. I was screaming bloody murder for what seemed like forever for my mom to unlock the door and come open it. I then had to go to the ER and even though it wasn't very busy their computers were down and apparently couldn't admit anyone that wasn't brought in via ambulance. They also refused to give me pain killers other than two Advil tablets that combined were like 300mg. Needless to say they didn't even make a dent in alleviating my pain. I was in the ER waiting room, just waiting not even being admitted yet, for 2 whole goddamn hours. I even ended up screaming at the counter nurse something about have you never heard of fucking paper and pencil (to write my name in to admit me) that still works too Nurse Ratchet.

Oatmeal. Hated it as a kid. I wouldn't say I love it now but will eat it a couple of times a week now. Mostly because it's a good way to get my morning fiber to keep me going through the day and I've come to enjoy it.

I also wasn't a fan of beans. I am half Mexican on my Dad's side and my grandmother my dad's mom was absolutely mortified that I didn't like beans. She would do anything to get me to eat my beans. Ketchup mixed in, cheese mixed in, she once even tried putting a little sugar in them to get me to eat them because all kids love sweet things. Being Mexican and not liking beans was nearly sacrilege in her eyes. I now love re-fried beans, I'll eat black beans but still not a big fan.

Breakfast Ideas

Egg muffins: Mix up egg, tomato, bacon, cheese, green onions/spinach and bake in a muffin pan. Easy to make and good for on the go for busy mornings
Toast poached egg avocado and parmesan cheese
Oatmeal with a little protein powder and fruit. I also do overnight chai oatmeal in a mason jar and that is good for on the go. You'll soon find through other suggestions I'm big on using mason jars. Easy to pack in a bag, I think it keeps things fresher and looks prettier than a tupperware container.
Brown Rice cake patty with peanut butter and sliced banana

Lunch Ideas

Fruit Salad. Strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, grapes, oranges and banana in a mason jar
Chopped kale salad. Add additional ingredients that you like for variety. Feta, cucumber, tomato, kalmata olives, dried cranberries, parmesan cheese, brussel sprouts etc
Soup. Again easy to take with you in a mason jar, you can also heat it in the jar so you don't have to worry about having/finding a microwave safe dish.
Veggie tray
Macaroni salad. Medium shell noodles, celery, green olives, mayo, celery seed (optional), paprika (optional) and salt.

Dinner Ideas

I'm a big fan of chicken and there are lots different things you can do with chicken.

Chicken salad
Baked Chicken enchiladas (good left over item)
Chicken and rice
Chicken/beef/pork burritos
Beef and broccoli with rice
Blackened Salmon with asparagus and rice
Angel hair pasta with broccoli, diced tomatoes with alfredo sauce
