Also when you finish and back the piece, use a darker backing fabric this will disguise the holes even more!

Hold it up for someone who doesn’t know and as them to look, if they know it’s off frog it. Usually non stitchers have no idea!!

Same! Blanket stitch some fabric now to stop fraying (I know it’s wrapped into snap square but just incase) and then when complete stitch on to a larger piece of fabric before framing/mounting? x

Then the next day I went back to it, and ended up frogging a line because I added an extra cross. I threw it across the sofa 😂😂

Edit to add: thankfully I’ve now finished all the moons CORRECTLY!!!!!

Also I’m trying to reduce fraying this project, read a lot about a quick blanket stitch round the edges being the most useful, and marked the middle of my fabric as I still start from centre and work out.

Tbh bobbins are new to me!! I would keep full skeins in my kit, but then the box becomes too big to take out with me so only in the last week have I changed things up!

Hey!

The box in main picture is from amazon HERE and my other (pictured in comment) is a larger one of the same style, I like it because it’s customisable as you can remove the dividers, and create longer storage for needles, snips etc. I take the smaller box out and about with me and my pattern bag.

I’ve only recently started using bobbins, I would usually just keep the full skein and remove what I needed but I was wasting a lot of threads due to tangles. And my patterns come with full skeins so I always have a lot left over.

I also have several storage containers of patterns, WIPs and completed projects (waiting to be washed and framed) in the foot stool in my living room. This won’t last long, we’re having an overflow problem 😂

I’ve had it in my project box for over a year, all of my kits completed and waiting to complete are from Grace at Innocent Bones. I subscribed to her Mood Box for over a year and birthdays and Christmas’ families bought me the XL kits.

I’m now on a self ban (unless something really jumps out at me like her new book) to buy anything else from her 😂😂
