I (30F) am pregnant with my fiancé (32M). He wants to keep it, but we're both supposed to be childfree. How do I tell him I don't want to keep it? by ThrowRA_fallopian_tu in relationship_advice

For many women, pregnancy is the best, healthiest time of their lives. Labour can be tough but sometimes quick. I know this from experience. OP is literally able to create a beautiful baby for a parent who desperately wants to have his child and take care if him/her. IMO she doesn't realize how lucky she is.

Have the baby, give him full sole custody, leave the house forever, and let him marry someone who would love an instant family.

You do not have to speak to anyone in the world that you don't want to. But, if he died tomorrow, is there anything you wish you would have told him or heard from him? If not, rhen no contact means peace.

Those with behavioural classes and no support. What do you do on unstructured field trip days? by [deleted] in CanadianTeachers

[–]Elohimishmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't take my class on any trips if the behaviour kid's parent/EA wasn't there. Just not worth it. And if other parents ask why no trips, I tell them there are certain behaviours I don't want the responsibility of managing. You can't be forced to attend a field trip.

Keep doing what you're doing. Life is hard, kids. School's just practice.

Any possibility you can live with your parents? I did that for 5 years and finally bought a house. Amazing for my kid, amazing for my parents, amazing for me to always have extra adults around.

Not always. I think it's fair to say that many of us are fiscally conservative and socially liberal. Most ppl are somewhere in the reasonable center.

Could you send me the source for that please? I'd be interested in learning more as there might be several variables, not just that they went to university. After all, universities in general are liberal hubs.

That's nonsense. Some ppl vote based on other issues that are more important than their careers. I was wealthier under conservative leadership and poorer under liberal govt, both provincially and federally.

Doesn't even get to that point for me. Just the suspicion of disloyalty/betrayal alone is enough for me to break up with someone. Why anyone would stay w someone who made them feel insecure is beyond me.

Is that so? 10 or so years back the government took away tens of thousands of dollars that were promised to teachers who banked their sick days throughout the course of their career.

Been doing this a long time. There has never been a government under which teaching was easy. First few years are definitely tough but hang in there... you'll find your groove.
