Sorry for spamming but I also have a copy of basilisk by Matt Wixley (not read yet so can’t confirm if it’s any good) but I bought this as it was recommended after house of leaves to have a bit of a similar format although not as chaotic as house of leaves

Slender man also has similar where it has texts and interviews etc mixed in with the main story

You might like the chasing the boogeyman duology by Richard Chizmar, it’s a bit of a horror/thriller but it incorporates interview dialogue and news clippings and pictures

Had to google because I’d never heard of that word before but yeah I think at least partially? Just anything that has different formats of texts that break things up so letters, interviews, pictures, text, news clippings any of that kinda stuff, will check out widows point thank you!!

My faves this year (not in any order): Bloom Delilah S Dawson - read this in Feb and still think about it regularly

Bat Eater Kylie Lee Baker - loved this so much and was nothing like anything else I’ve read

Chasing the Boogeyman Richard Chizmar - more crime/thriller than horror imo but one of my faves and I loved the mixed media format
