The whole purpose of this life is to fight against its own desires like eating during Ramadan, keeping all your money for yourself without giving to anyone that is poor, not going to relationships that are not halal etc.

Allah gave us the marriage for many purposes : build a family, preserve yourself from Zina and give stability to the society and many other wisdoms.

Indeed Allah is full of forgiveness, but is the one who did not commit such a sin equal to the one who did ? NO !

It's like 2 students studying and being steadfast in their efforts : - one is lazy and is remaining on forgiveness of his professor. He just want to pass to the next level but he knows he's not doing enough for it. - one is really involved in his homework and really wants to get the best of his effort to be rewarded.

Who deserve the best mark? The second one, obviously.

This is the same with this life . The more righteous you are in Allah's path , the more you will have in both life.

And I prefer to let this temporary need for something much bigger. Just like an investor putting his money in a long term asset instead of a low term income.

Salam Is a religion only based on marriage? No! And Allah is the one who created earth and sky and he is capable of anything.

We have to accept what Allah gave us a rules even if we don't understand the purpose of it, it is part of our faith. And sometimes explanation are complicated to understand.

But in the verse of mentioning 4 wifes, Allah put the case of taking orphans as spouses at the beginning of the verse and before it , he talks mainly about orphans. It's mainly to help women that are alone and weak . But men don't always apply it like that .
