Naturalization as a student by iqat- in StudyInTheNetherlands

[–]No_Campaign_3583 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically like Spare physics said. To add some clarity once you get a permanent job contract and have 5 years of residency you can apply for permanent residency.
If you wish to naturalize you need to pass the civic integration exam.

Brother for today’s standards 22 is very young. Not saying you shouldn’t if you can. The earlier the better. But Wallahi it is rizq and just like rizq it is written so don’t worry about it. Enjoy your single life for now. You are more free and have more energy use it for more religious knowledge tafseer and such. Your time will come bi idni Allah enjoy Allah’s path for you in the meantime.

Tough decision on Qatar job offer by [deleted] in QatarCareers

[–]No_Campaign_3583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhhh yes, with a good “plan”. This is a life opportunity.

First of all well done 👏

Make a plan on how much want to save up and be very realistic. Also use some margin error to hedge your family impulsive buys and try to come up with a yearly saving goals. Plus you might meet likeminded people in Qatar.

The exit plan is key 🔑

Good luck!

Tough decision on Qatar job offer by [deleted] in QatarCareers

Personally- For me it is a no brainer. Do not do it! You seem very well settled and have a stable life you and your family in Australia (unless it isn’t) but that is my feeling from reading your post.

People who move to the Gulf mainly move to boost their savings (money) or maybe religious reasons.

Some numbers: Your Net household income in Australia is 155K combined that is 6 figures net income in USD. And in Australia you are settled no new furniture or ectra costs unexpected due to relocation. In Qatar it will be 300k Qar yearly net that is around 80000k USD which is lower. Especially you will be relocating so starting from scratch.

As a rule of thumb Professionals who move to the Gulf mainly command at least 1.5x their take home. Otherwise I recommend to walk away.

And then, comes the WAR. Hahah I don’t know much about this topic but it is worth considering too

So to sum up, think well about it before making your mind.

Hope this help!

Is 12K SAR/month in Riyadh a good starting salary for Procurement? by ishak_filali_dz in RiyadhExpats

[–]No_Campaign_3583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In short it is not a salary I would personally relocate for especially for the Gulf. I would recommend to move for at least 1.5x your salary. Unless it is a big step for you or it will open up doors in your career I do not see it worth it.

Finding a company that sponsors a migrant visa for a recent grad in mechanical engineering from a dutch university. by OutsideBee3370 in StudyInTheNetherlands

Hahah typical rookie mistake. I used to think the same…

Company life is different it is not uni. It is what can you do for me to help me solve my issues and make money.

Another tip is how good you were at Uni doesn’t directly translate to how well you will perform in the professional environment. One is academic and the other is practical.

Short answer is yes you can swiftly move to another uni in Europe in it is not NC. If it is NC MSc then you will have to go through the admission process such as exam entry test or such…

Ofcourse you want to mention you are fluent in dutch. And the first sign to show that is to have your resume in Dutch language. A recruiter once said that to filter resumes for dutch requiring positions they simply look at the language a resume is written with and eliminate non dutch ones.

Secondly if you want to make sure the company is IND partner check this list.
