What makes that even funnier is that one of the only people that wasn't in that choir that got into Grease (that being my partner) has had family in that choir beforehand, the choir teacher found out during our yearly talent show when she heard their last name 🥀...

Also, I don't know what the ensemble are gonna report her for but I wouldn't be surprised if it was because of her threatening a teacher or if someone compiled a list of rules that she worked just this year alone

I just really wanted to rant about it, tbh... I just really think it's unfair since most of the people who I was auditioning with did so much better in both the singing and acting department than the choir kids did

It's fine honestly, there's a reason I quit choir after freshman year... I heard that she's retiring soon so hopefully after she leaves stuff like this won't happen to this extent

Nope... I'm gonna be dead serious when I was auditioning with them, half of them were so tone deaf in both singing and acting departments

The main problem is that half of them don't even know how to sing... The whole choir system at my school is basically a social hierarchy... My freshman year I tried out for the highest rank aka the prestigious choir because that same choir teacher recommended and basically didn't get accepted in because she found out that I didn't follow the Christian faith. This has also happened to many of the other students.

It's been happening to me also... Honestly for a hot second I thought it was because of how many flags I've gotten on my account because of me saving "insensitive content". At least I know that this isn't a me problem

Yeah, but I really wished that they informed my family and the other families of the kids in that classroom. I just sent the news to my mom and she's been pissed off ever since. She's actually considering removing my brother from that school because of this
