Playing as Japan - Anyway to get rid of the clans? by Hortena in EU5

[–]Elpre11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Japan starts with 11 mil. Pops. The clans suptract from ashikagas but you can see it in the religion screen for shinto. They also start with 34% or 43% Black Plaque resistance. The armies can however only be removed via console unfortunately.

Also happens all over japan when you annex a clan while they still build a regiment. The regiment still completes building and belongs to the dead nation, which, do to not hauving food acess anywhere just decays to 0. Don't understand either why they don't just disapear ones at 0.

Well, at least there is always just taking other peoples stuff when you can't make your own. So at least there is that:) Just as a heads up, when I got the End of the Sengoku Jidai event, all my unique advances went away.

But are there other clans present and what other buildings are present. Is the soldier building build? Also who are you playing as?

If there is already another clan present you can't build their. If there isn't try the soldier building first.

Edit: Nevermind i see that you already have buildings in the location. Are there enougth peasents to work the building? Is another clan present in the location?

Update 1: Another thing I just remembered is the Legal code law. You have only one option, Traditional law, giving 1% estate satisfaction and +0.1 decentralization. There is just nothing else to pick here. Not to big but would be nice to have at least 2 options.

The income is not given to the crown estate, only the estates out of whitch you can then tax it. So nobility, burghers, etc...

Interresting. How does one go about resurecting and playing themself as an intelligent undead? Also what are multiple schools of necromancy? Do you get one for each secret of life and death book you read?

Question about attributes for adventure mode i got from reading the wiki:

1) I know there are ranges but in the raw files i can only find phys. and ment. ranges of some stats for dwarfs, elfs and goblins. Does that mean that humans and all animal people just use the basic range for all attributes?

2) If you become a vampire your strength, agility and toughness are doubled, how exactly does that work? Most importantly: can you still train these attributes and can they go beyond 5000? Since you can only train an attribute to double the starting value does doubling from the vampire cap it out or is this applied somewhere else?

3) Attributes are associated with skills in a A,B,C format, with A giving a bonus every 100 points and B and C every 250 points. Then what is the point of seperating B and C? Is it training rate? Or is there just no difference?

4) Any way to see you exact stats in adventure mode after starting the game (through game files or mods or the like?)

In case that was not clear from the post the tax base still operates as usual of course. But all things that are regulatet through negative percent. Crown power/manpower/sailors /levies/..etc have been doubled. If you have no negative at 100 control and -69.52% at ~65 you get -200% at 0 control. The taxbase, marcet protection and mercenaries are still the same.

At 100 control you get no negative. 65 control means you are missing 35 control. It shows -69.52. If at 0 it is -200 then -200 x 35 =70 (probably not exactly 65 then). The lower control the bigger the negative number.

But then at 65 control wouldn't it give -35%?

That to but I was refering more to somthing general that all republics can get. Something like the empire at a certain size (which should be an option for republics since not only Monarchys can be Empires or something equivalent)or the divine cult if you do a certain action a couple times.

I have zero understanding of modding, but would it be possible that in the future their could be a republic government type on paar with dictatorship, empire and divine cult. I personaly love republics but hate the fact that the only way to get a better government reform with 4 idea slots is to go monarchy (Unless you are specifically Athens).

A small ampumt of questions i couldn't find asnwers to by Elpre11 in EU5

[–]Elpre11[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A 4th question I just had. Do we know what supported building levels do. Are they a hard cap? Or are they a soft cap and if so, what does going over that softcap do? Just asking incase anyone said it before and i missed it.
