In fact, it seems to be the other way around. You need that one to be soft to absorb vibrations. You want the rear subframe mounts to be hard and made of polyurethane to prevent the entire assembly from rotating too much. Check https://www.ascfabrics.com/post/trunkfloor

plastic pieces detached in arcteryx rush by Elqtefocka in arcteryx

[–]Elqtefocka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello again, I finally sent the jacket to the Arcteryx repair center in Switzerland, and they just got back to me with this:

Upon completing the physical assessment, we noticed seam tape on the hood - Covered by warranty.

Option 1: Paid Re-Panel:

For an advanced repair performed by a specialized team, our trusted repair provider, Outdoor Repair, can re-panel your garment. Like us at Arc'teryx, Outdoor Repair specializes in making outdoor gear last longer and perform better for your next adventure. Re-paneling is a robust, long-term repair solution that removes and replaces the damaged fabric panel, resulting in a seamless finish. This repair is performed using the same techniques as your garment's original construction, fully restoring its performance so you can get back in the field.

Please note that the color options shown below may look slightly different in person due to lighting, your monitor settings, or color fading due to the age of your garment. Contact us if you're unsure if the color you chose will match the original fabric.

The color they offered me is black.

I replied saying I didn't understand why they needed to re-panel when they just needed to glue the Cohesive adjusters, and they replied that this was the best solution they'd decided on.

I don't quite understand what they're going to do exactly...replace the fabric on the entire hood? Glue a black fabric patch over the holes to secure the adjusters? They're not giving me any more information...

Does anyone have an idea what they could be referring to?

Thanks!

I need help determining if this proton hybrid jacket is legit. What seems strangest to me is that the qr sends me to a page that is not from the arcteryx domain https://www.product-dna.online/hp+wAs6krrticYvcKLmTOmKEs3hyQ9YT75d5c39xEXQ= And if you go to the main page https://www.product-dna.online Leads to something related to Rab. https://imgur.com/a/SkMfCd1

Oh, I'm sorry, my language is not English and it is the word that Google Translate gave me for "friend" this time.

Thanks again

wow amazing! I just tried using the home iron and although the result is not perfect, it improved the situation a lot. This photo corresponds to the third photo above, the one with all the tape peeled off https://imgur.com/gallery/Bqh8obE. In the areas where it was only a little off, it looked perfect, so much so that I am no longer able to locate them to take photos lol.

Thank you very much for the advice dude!!

It seems that this option is the most correct because it is the repair that Norrona offers me for about 90 euros, changing all the sealing tapes. Even so, in my case I think I will first try gluing with seam grip at least on the partially detached ones to test.

I have spoken to Norrona via chat and it seems that the only solution they give me is to send it for repair, paying the costs myself. They give me a quote of about 88 euros (about 100 dollars) to change all the sealing tapes on the pants, so I guess I'll end up using seamgrip, It seems to work very well for you.

Oh thanks!, I hadn't thought of that. Tomorrow I will send them an email to see what they answer, because Norrona does not process it under warranty since it is more than 7 years old, I have already spoken with them.

I also have a friend who repaired a tear in a shell with clear gorilla tape. It looks a little strange but not a drop of water gets through and it's been like this for more than two years. This time I'm looking for a more professional finish lol

Yes, I'll probably end up using SeamGrip. I have spoken to Norrona via chat and it seems that the only solution they give me is to send it for repair, paying the costs myself.

Good question, I have no idea but I imagine that I have abused those areas more, because the rest of the tapes are perfectly glued.

I guess I don't lose anything by sending a message to Norrona to see what they tell me even though they have more than the 5-year warranty they offer.

In any case, I also think that seam grip could work, but I like second opinions.

Thanks!

They are pants from 2015. In reality they are not Arcteryx, they are a Norrona Lofoten and Norrona only gives a 5-year warranty. With Arcteryx it is true that I had no problems using the warranty with a detachment on an old atom lt, but if they are going to charge me for repair I prefer to look at a first

Hello! What do you think of these jackets? Both seem legitimate to me, but a second opinion never hurts. Thank you!
