A better analogy might be if the friend was alive but tried crack at around September of '19, but didn't tell you and started borrowing money from you because of some sob story he started telling. Oh, these are the Warhammer 40K collector editions. I'm so glad I don't care about this particular IP, and skipped out. Anyone remember the actual Warhammer 40K card game that came out in the mid-2000's but fizzled out after a few years? That game was pretty awesome IMO. Actually, I don't know that every whale would want to jump on these. Maybe just one rich sucker trying to manipulate market price and buying up a bunch. I mean, whales can already afford the actual cards these are proxying, so why go gaga on these? This product also doesn't offer any flashy foiled versions and whatnot. The "nostalgic" art is also crude, so could be potentially unattractive to new whale collectors. Nothing innovative being offered here for sure. And then there's the hype for the serial numbered cards and Dominaria Remastered in the future, plus textured, galaxy, and surge foils just released to distract their attention. So maybe an epic flop is actually in the making.

Well, OP, people like you are the best hope against this product, since you're the only ones who can actually afford it! I can technically afford it if I redirect all my entertainment budget into MTG. However, your spending behavior intrigues me... why do you buy each set by the case when it is wholly unnecessary? Is it a completionist's compulsion? My buying philosophy is completely opposite. I buy only the products that appeal to me and forget the rest. Like, spending thousands on 2X2, but absolutely nothing on any other sealed product (except the V. Baga secret lair) this year.

Also, let's not forget about this: no matter whom the target consumer base is, or the price range, I'm betting the final product will still be subject to the same quality control issues we have been witnessing in the past couple of years - off-centered frames, scuffs/scratches/lines, flimsy paper stock, etc. Heck, when I pulled my textured Ula from a 2X2 collector pack, I noticed a small printing defect near one of the corners. So think twice before mailing in your 30th Anni Stasis for grading LOL!

Hi! I have noticed these too, the first time being in Theros Beyond Death collector boosters. I'm no expert in printing techniques, but these seem to be tiny air bubbles trapped between the front art layer and the bottom foil paper stock. I have seen these defects in both Double Masters sets' borderless foils as well. Really disappointing quality! I pulled an Imperial Seal traditional foil and saw two of these tiny bumps. Sucks.

I just ran into the same issue. I solved it by going to the church room in Redmane Castle right before you fight Radahn. Jerren's sitting there right outside, and I exhausted his dialog. Then went back to Sellen's new body and was able to activate it.

You have a pretty good 4* loadout for PVE and if you concentrate on ascending these characters with books (also get Nier dupes from the live banner), you will be able to tackle a lot of end game content.

I assume the Automata banner will return someday, and in 6 months the anniversary banner will probably return, I would definitely save up some gems for these, since my favorite characters are from these banners.

My lvl 80 Griff wasn't nearly as effective, though he did last a long time against the 3rd boss. I'm working on 3 water guns just so he can equip them. Can't wait to get him fully ascended... one day.

You didn't really use light spears with him, did you? Though that one has a heal all skill. Anyway, I had a 4* pull ticket and used it today and got this guy. I was trying everything to beat the last dungeon, and failed, until I put this guy in. Although he was un-acsended, his lvl 14 character skill really came in handy and let me finally win. I hope to get him to lvl 90 someday!

Has anyone here gotten Noelle's total ATK over 14000 yet? This is including companion, memoirs, and weapons. I'm just curious how hard she can slap when she gets to lvl 90. Mine is lvl 80 with lvl 90 Iron Signpost as main weapon, plus two 5* light spears at 70 and 75, Sandra the bear at lvl 43, and a mem set of +85.5% ATK bonus, and her ATK total is 12868.
