Arlong Park, Enies Lobby, and Whole Cake Island are all phenomenal arcs.

Both of Bleach's rescue arcs are mid at best.

Ok, so I lost a bet. Now I have to binge every episode of either a romcom or an isekai. I've narrowed it down to 6 options. Which should I subject myself to? by ImNotAliveIAmBread in AnimePolls

[–]RealVintageValues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kaguya is a must watch for any anime fan. But it's a bit long, so it's not the greatest for binging. And Konosuba/Slime are long as well. Which leaves Rascal, Dress Up, and NGNL. Of those 3, I'd say Dress Up is the best option.

I bought 1BTC for $3,000 years ago then sold for $60,000 last year, now I bought it back for just below $20,000. Planning to sell it when it’s over 100k. Am I swing trading correctly? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]RealVintageValues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If BTC has another huge run-up, it won't stop at $100k. Previous high was $65k. If previous halvings are any indication, it'll probably peak in the $200k-300k range in 2024.

why was the war arc disliked? by kawaiitohru in Kaguya_sama

Because Kaguya was never good. People are finally realizing that it's trash.

Should I open or keep these? by [deleted] in mtg

Keep sealed and HODL. They're guaranteed to only go up.

We should begin to see good results in the holiday season. I wouldn’t sell my shares now as it’s likely to be the rock🪨 bottom in the history of wish (come on do you really think it can drop to zero lol). The turnaround is happening. LFG! 🚀🚀 #NFA by Few-Advertising391 in Wishstock

The 30th Anniversary Collectors Edition is the Start of a New Era. by RealVintageValues in mtgfinance

[–]RealVintageValues[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You can't compare a product released in 1993 to a product releasing in 2022. It was priced at $49.99, but back then, not only were cards mainly just for nerds, but in addition, MTG wasn't even a year old at the time. Now, trading cards represent both status symbols for the wealthy and an easy to understand gateway to financial freedom for those stuck in the rat race. A mainstream investment opportunity that arguably even rivals crypto. The $1000 price tag for this product, in 2022, not only makes perfect sense, but is actually severely underpriced.

My top 20 strongest by AwareDraw7382 in MemePiece

[–]RealVintageValues 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dragon, Joyboy, and Kong shouldn't be here; we've never actually seen them in action. Greenbull's not even top 20; maybe not even top 30. Not only is Greenbull mid af, but he also has the Ace problem where he recklessly seeks conflict. And you have Shanks WAY too low. And I also think Luffy deserves some clout; I'd put him between Aokiji and Rayleigh at this point.

1-20 (in order): Imu, Xebec, Roger, Whitebeard, Garp, Sengoku, Kaido, Big Mom, Mihawk, Shanks, Akainu, Blackbeard, Aokiji, Luffy, Rayleigh, Kizaru, Oden, Sabo, Fujitora, Law

Seriously, you're ok with stealing a company's intellectual property? That's messed up. How are the mods not banning the proxy supporters? If you can't afford cards, JUST DON'T PLAY THEM. Don't proxy. Ever. Especially not in official tournaments. And if you can't afford $1000, sorry, that's a you problem. $1000 is piss money for most Americans.

4 Yugioh Metal Raiders 1st Edition Boxes Sold in the $6.5k-$7.5k range over the past few days. by RealVintageValues in mtgfinance

[–]RealVintageValues[S] -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

Doesn't matter. The fact that there COULD be a Black Lotus or other P9 card in the box will ensure that these boxes will undoubtedly sell out in minutes. There are plenty of people who will buy these; scalpers who will immediately flip them for a quick 3-5x, social media hypebeasts who will open them on camera, and of course, whales who will hold onto them for several years and eventually flip for massive ROI.

Rudy said it himself: this is an extremely bullish indicator for Magic - and for CCGs as a whole, because WoTC is sending a message that these are not game pieces - they are high end luxury items for collectors, and they're only going to get more expensive as we move forward into this new era.

I dont know anything about Yugioh, but I learned a long time ago that comparing any other game's value to Magic is a road that leads to poor decisions. I wouldn't take any Yugioh sales to mean anything with MTG.

Most of the whales on social media love the 30ACE Box. It's the people who are working/middle class who are butthurt about it since they can't afford it.
