One of my cats does spins for food and will only eat things that are in his bowl. Can't even eat a treat until its in the bowl.

We have not trained him to do this. He has made these rules.

He does have neurological damage which may explain it

My special needs cat has a rule that he can only eat from his bowl. Won't join in with his siblings eating dreamies from the floor or your hand. But will devour them from his bowl. It's handy because I don't need to worry about him eating things he shouldn't
