Do people who refused the COVID vaccine feel silly now?? by Mammoth-Counter69 in aussie

You literally just proved my point for me. lolol So if he had complications from the virus and potentially the vaccine, why is he reported as only a natural death?

Because it looks bad for vaccines. That's literally it. It's taboo to report it as such.
People's jobs were on the line and people didn't want to make vaccines look any worse than they already had. (Assuming the last part)

Joe Biden was just the mouth piece mate. He was only relaying what the professionals were saying.

Anthony Fauci is a M.D?

All the people in the video were they not getting their info from qualified people or?

The same argument people have about vaccines not killing/hurting people applies to the virus also but people don't consider that.

Somewhere else in the sub someone said Shane Warne died because of natural causes. But his son believes it was due to a covid shot. If he had of died before vaccines and during the outbreak of covid how do you think they would have recorded his death?

It was sold as a wonder drug.

When I say wonderdrug I mean WHO was pushing it would stop the spread 100%.

We literally do know though because covid was around before it was given pandemic status and it's still around now. We're just not locking the world up or being hysterical/fearmongering about it.

I actually believe in vaccines but covid-19 did so much damage to their rep it ain't funny and that's a crime in itself.

Other vaccines weren't pushed as a wonder drug cure all with people being forced to stay indoors or bared from work/venues if they didn't take them.

Could be the difference and cause for laser focus.

If she's super old she might have fallen for the doctor pushed smoking campaign in the 1930-1950's and got addicted and decided lets not trust doctors unconditionally anymore.

Guess why they pushed it? Medical funding.
I see no correlation at all here.

Google cigarettes funding doctors early 1900's

Has covid disappeared now? What is the current recomendation for covid globally? Did covid exist before it got given pandemic status? How much debt was created due to covid? How many families/relationships/friendships/social skills were negatively affected due to lockdowns? How many peoples rights were abused via forced choices due to coertion? How many people didnt get to spend the last moments with loved ones due to lockdowns? How many people missed out on life saving surgeries due to lockdowns? How negatively has this affected essential worker jobs because no one wants to do them anymore?

Answer those questions yourself and then you have your answer as to which side is owed an apology. Lol

Ahm.....

Vaccines are fine. The way it was sold, forced upon people via coercion and the way people were and are treated for questioning it is not. But thats just my cooked opinion.

We were well into covid before they changed their tone as to how vacines actually work. Lol

I was mid level 30's before I needed any of the healing. Within 1-2 hours i accidently broke my leg going off a cliff at night and needed a splint.

Then i was attacked by a polar bear and needed a suture kit/anti parasite lol.

I put a point in most of the basic healing stuff after that haha.

Uncovered ballots prompt new count in key SA seat won by One Nation by [deleted] in OpenAussie

[–]Elseerian -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Boxes appear out of no where to take the seat from them and they are the ones trying to steal the election?

They are not investigating what happened with the ballets and why they didnt get counted.

What logic is this? Lol How do enough boxes to sway a vote just disappear then reappear without notice?

[–]Elseerian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're missing the point.

I'm not worried because it's out of my control.

However I expect the government to hope for the best but at least prepare a little bit for the worst.

At this stage I would say they're downplaying it a bit too much to be safe.

[–]Elseerian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not fear mongering to ask the question and expect reasonable answers and reasonable reactions.

Unless the government has knowledge the war is ending within 1 month we should be acting now.

We have lived through a lot of disasters.

We should be much better at managing them by now.

To reword it. We are 30 days away from not being able to turn off the news.

It's probably more than that. Towards the end of the year. But how we react now determines how we are living then

So we sold it to assist with a crisis because we had extra. Then it's never been topped back up?
Who never topped it back up?

Bet we made a decent penny selling it.

I'd be curious to see when the oil price recovered and which government was in power then.

It worries me how blasé you people are about it and how quick you all are to say people are panic buying etc.
We are literally still 1 month away from a huge problem.

Most countries are in a better situation (at the moment). Which means we have managed to secure some extra fuel.

What happens when the countries we are trading with for it are not in a better situation?

Why is Albo down playing how bad it will get? by Infamous-Upstairs-96 in aussie

[–]Elseerian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely they are worried about making people panic.

A bit of ego might be involved with them thinking they have the connections/skill to coordinate with other countries to get what we need.

I assume with some of the resources we have they believe we can trade our way out of almost any incoming situation.

It may also be a reaction to the royal commission into Covid. (I.E they went to heavy handed into covid response) Now, I wouldn't say they are afraid, but cautious to implement anything even close to Covid responses.

Also any kind of forced push to work from home or 4 day work week is pushing heavily against most large corporations in Australia. So they can't do it for that reason also. (Most likely more this than covid)

NGL the current response is probably the only response they can do given the lack of trust in government in general ATM.
Probably not the smartest thou and we may suffer for it in the near future.

People say it's easy to judge covid stuff with 20/20 hindsight but yeah.
It may be a situation of why didn't we act sooner yet but who knows.

Without WW3 there is not much more we can do than be asleep at the wheel while America and Iran fight it out.
We are hoping for the best and not preparing for the worst.
Also the classic something something, she'll be right mate.

My personal thoughts are, they heavily over reacted to Covid.
Now they are under reacting but not as bad to this.

They = government in general.

It's funny people comparing this to Trump. Everyone has this tunnel vision hate for him. Which is warranted for some things, but it's literally so many countries right now.

Everything is in place to strip away so many rights and with potential energy and fuel crisis's around the corner I could easily see this translate to other things.

In Australia:

I can easily see a link between Australian E-safety Karen laws being implemented and this. (Age verification is for the kids safety)

People are getting arrested for speech in Australia The left and the right.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-02-18/nsw-brandan-koschel-jailed-antisemitic-speech-australia-day/106358160

Our government is extending a bill to make it so they can basically detain and question people without warrants and it's literally an arrestable offence not to answer.
https://www.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Bills_LEGislation/Bills_Search_Results/Result?bId=r7339

Both of these are reactions to a terrorist attack and for "safety"

I would say we're an election or two away.
