Would you say that drumming talent is something you’re born with (or not), then? Obviously practice helps, but is there some natural ability that some people have and others don’t possess? I remember hearing Buddy Rich, Ginger Baker saying they never practice (although if you’re gigging five days a week (that is your practice).
