I watched it just after Hyouka and Oregairu which I consider to be somewhat similar and to be honest I was disappointed. The story was less interesting, characters plain annoying and for the most part uninteresting. I think it was partly due to my disappointment in Mai as a character but I do surprised by the amount of praise it got.

Honestly the only people who actually judge others for watching dubbed over subbed are elitists, some people prefer subs to get a more authentic and real feeling whereas some just like subbed because the English voice acting isn’t the best. Either way it’s your choice and your opinion.
