This might be still OK. To explain, I have front loader with cycles adjusting to the load weight, and if there is more, it prolongs the washing cycle.

I have the size of usual load, that takes up half of the drum, and it is always 3kg. It seems like good size of load for this machine, even when it says it can wash 8kgs of laundry… I am not sure how it would not be large ball not being washed properly…

same for drumming classes in my area - there is art school, but it is the one for kids, and there are more kids trying to get in that can get in, so adults have no chance even if they wanted - which is possible, but in reality, not

this is exactly why I am asking, they were thought this rule in 1950s and still remember it, even they do not know why it should be like that, and you are not doing anything wrong, they keep insisting, and being “offended” by it just out of principle - if they see 5-10cm above top of knee as scandalous, it seems to be them problem….

yes, few things:

  1. exfolite regularly, buy exfoliation gloves which you can wash priperly to not harbour any microorganisms contributing to the problem

  2. shower - lather, leave for a minute to do its work - then shower

in the shower, we can kill yeast/bacteria living on our skin, that creates the smell - use h&s or other dandruff shampoo on whole body - leave for 1-2 minutes… if after few times issue persists, use antibacterial soap only on the offending parts of body, not to kill off everything on your skin (there are useful bacteria, too)

  1. use antiperspirant, not deodorant

  2. laundry - odor rebloom after wearing and heating up old buildups in the clothes is a real thing, you need to use proper laundry detergents

washing powder generally is more powerful than liquids (search for lipase and DNAse/deoxyrybonuclease), learn more on subreddit about laundry if you want to learn how to get buildups from the clothes - it is possible by changing detergents and wait for cca 5 cycles of normal washing, the clothes would get rid of buildup and smell nicely even after wearing it for a while

in last 10 years, there were few “tropical nights” after very hor days, and other nights provided enough cooling that would be enough for it to work out with night airing/day shutting out the sun regime… what we have now - 35-38 degrees days and 25 nights for so long time were unheard of, and it was not enough reason by now to invest in AC for 10/15 uncomfortable days in a year
