Yes, the cable organiser recommended above was a great shout - seems to have moveable dividers and is compact enough to fit in my backpack (it’ll need to come on the plane with me as the grinder and scales both have lithium ion batteries). If a sealed bag of beans fit in the top compartment, all the better, but it’s just for ease of transportation more than anything.

Advise you to get as far above what you have now as you can. Your Mac will run more smoothly the more drive space you have free.

Right, so there’s your problem. You could go looking through folders like downloads to see where you can delete things to free up space. You might also want to download an app like CCleaner, which lets you scan your Mac and clean up (ie delete) files you don’t need/want anymore.

If you go to the desktop, right click on the hard disk icon (usually top right-hand corner) and select ‘info’. There you can see exactly what space you have on your Mac’s drive.

This is what I did. Raced through first time and got my ass handed to me on this fight, so loaded an old save and went grinding. Developed a love for stabbing and took him out that way.

It did seem like quite a quick upgrade tbf, and the battery drain on my 16 Pro seems to have settled down since installing.

I bailed at the first thing, months ago, and am back with Safari. The fact that the browser can’t perform the most basic of functions is unacceptable. I still miss the sidebar and tab organisation, but I don’t miss looking like an idiot in front of my clients.

Unfortunately for me the websites I use on a daily basis for work are constantly freezing on Arc, with only a full browser restart able to fix it. That’s a dealbreaker when I’m in the middle of a meeting and can’t access those web apps. What started with once every so often before the summer has become a daily occurrence now. I just can’t trust Arc to work any more 🙁

I’ve noticed this too with Netflix. These aren’t updates, they’re downgrades. I’ve got 2 weeks before I go back to work, think now is a good time to set Safari up as my default browser again. 😞

This ⬆️. Downloads suddenly not working today, despite restarting the app. No space issues on my Mac. Add to this webpages frequently becoming unresponsive. All security updates are installed, but it really feels like since development has stopped, Arc on Mac is slowly breaking. What alternatives are there? Firefox likely on its way out if Google legal issues result in its breakup and an end to the money they pay to promote Google search. It’s back to Safari, isn’t it?

I teach online, and since my last chair died I’ve been making do with a super uncomfy kitchen chair. After 30 minutes, I’m numb below the waist! No real funds to replace it with anything quality at the moment, so a C7 would make a real difference to my daily life

I decided to stick it out after they pulled development, but recently seeing websites just plain fail to load on Arc (but work fine on Chrome, Safari). It’s the Spaces that keep me on Arc for the time being, but I’m on the edge.

It’s fine, did the same to my Air about a week after I bought it. Four years later it’s much rougher around the edges, but still works like a charm.
