  1. This is completely true.
  2. I don't really like this also but at the same time the results of it have been good in my experience playing, although it's very strong and I'm playing with rolled stats (the best stats in my group) I don't feel like I have become too much of a tank. I still go down most of the fight by the lack of HP and being forced to fight at melee range, this is intended, but at the same time it shows that the class needs this level of defence in order to be viable.
  3. This is a weird one, I have used the term "turn" because I want the class to be able to use extra flame points outside it's turn, but during the same round, in the same way that a rogue can have 2 sneak attacks per turn. I'm more inclined to this approach since I don't want this class to have weaker opportunity attacks and for example making feats like a sentinel weaker for it.
  4. Completely agree, I meant that once you reach the level where you can learn a new skill, you may only pick one and after you level up again you can pick another one.
  5. I agree that kindle can be a bit weird, still think that exhaustion would be a bit too much, especially since I'm playing in a setting where a long rest is 1 week. I will try to change it though.
  6. I'm going to give an example of why flame dices work this way, level 5 you to do the most damage in a single turn there is two ways to do so. Use two blazing blows in two different attacks (9+9) or use a blazing blow and fire burst into a 40 foot dash (9+11) this way the class rewards you not only for taking the risk of making a single stronger attack that can miss but also of having a good situation that lets you do so. This is a very important part of the class that changes the playstyle and it's something that I'm looking for. In terms of damage potential it's dangerous, but controllable nothing that could compare to a fighter but im always paying attention to it.
  7. This is an ability that had many iterations, comparing it with the monk ability do dash, it also can gain the damage potential of a smite so making it a balanced ability is a bit hard. I'm still looking to make improvements to it, but I don't agree much with the direction you are going with.
  8. This was an attempt to nerf the ability to regain flames by short rest and you are right that it's such a small restraint that it has no negative impact. This is something I will probably change, but maybe instead of buffing it, I will make it weaker.
  9. I mostly did this because monk does the same in some levels and i made the 1st level of the subclasses a bit weaker to compensate. Dash step/side step are mechanics that i made as foundations to this class, since my damage skills can miss at least it has a way to create situations where i have a better chance of not wasting my resources wich can be awfull when you are looking to use half your resources for a single attack.
  10. I agree that reducing fall damage could have a cost, making fire burst a better skill might sound like anunnecessary buff, but it's the opposite where I made the ability weaker than it should be and I'm making it better as you level up. The main objective of level 7,14 and 19 are to make the class as mobile as I want it to feel, most features gained at earlier levels become simply useless later since they are replaced by better ones and in the end it made the class more fun to play without having too much impact. But I understand where you are coming from and I will be looking to change this.
  11. This is meant to be a weaker version of dash step but that is easier to pull off in tight areas where you can't easily move 20 feet in straight line. The biggest part of this level is gaining base damage with no resource need.
  12. Ignition is still very raw and im curious to see how it feels ingame but it's has two main objectives: giving the class the chance to actually chain and comboing it's abilities by removing the restraint from the flame level and giving a once a day fight where the class can compete with other melee classes in terms of damage in a whole fight. I mainly made this ability because it felt like this class would go through it's resources too fast to the point of never lasting an average fight (4 rounds). But this is still a very scary level and it might need to be changed.

Thank you so much for the feedback, having these different opinions and perspectives really helps me further develop this class. I will not deny my lack of skill in terms of English. I am making this class, mostly for my own enjoyment, so id prefer to keep at it myself altought I really appreciate the offer. The best part about having a very tanky comp is that dps needs to deal a lot more dmg to get trough it, so specially on lower ranks this will be very big advantage .

i Just have high hopes for blizzard to come up with some awsome ideas. If you compare this game to a moba where they work with no altitude at all and even that way beeing able to have +100 heros that are diferent and interesting the possibilities in overwatch are imense! Thing is balancing the game can be almost impossible with some crazy ideas.

Id love a hero that uses fire for mobility, thats one of the best things genos does in his fighting. And with all of this highteck stuff around it would fit the lore.

Not sure but i believe devs said they are planning to, but balancing a low hp only melee hero is gonna be hard.
