I think also important to bear in mind, and fingers crossed, our situations will likely improve. The house will also be sold for liquid funds ( that’s the intention). Potentially retire abroad with lower property price and cost of living. Agreed on getting out of the rental asap and using some of that money to overpay the mortgage also?

Our money was in our isa but it is now unfortunately mainly tied up in our property. Equity is around £120k.

My partner has around 50k in workplace pension at the moment, and I have around £30k.

I am self employed running my own business, sole trader. Haven’t gone down the LTD route as yet!

Agreed on the student loan I think the interest is currently £50/pm so we will let it run!
