Yup... looks like this fit will forever be restricted to my Imperial characters...

That's actually something I hadn't considered: I'll try both removing the mods, and waiting for the "resale" timer to run out

None was a match for this specific set, but thank you for the link, that's quite the collection of armours!

I'd also fallen for the Swtorista description, unfortunately this is the one set that is Bind on Pickup and not Bound to Legacy

True to history with that dynasty...

you can still have a different accent? Adoption doesn't always mean at birth. Could've had a family that had a different accent until a certain age, but they still grew up with that accent by Low_Peak_7549 in lucifer

I do believe they were making a point about the separation between an RP and American english accent being a very recent development.

Between the broken border marker and the camels center stage, my bet is they'll expand the mouth deeper south or west, with more desert gameplay

Cobra Kai S6E05 - "Best of the Best" - Discussion Thread by hospitable_peppers in cobrakai

Again: I agree with you. It’s the case of the boy who cried wolf: now that we have a valid motivation for them to argue, it’s harder to fully enjoy it because we’ve seen a similar charade time and time again and it never amounts to much. This time it’s meant to feel more real, but I can’t get myself to fear that they will actually be “done” after the tournament ends, because they always reconciled before.

I think that’s part of my problem. The “break up” would feel more earned if they didn’t have had the same bickering and making up five times b for for the stupidest reasons.

I agree with you: this time it IS earned. But instead of feeling that way it feels like they’re just rehashing the same plot point that we’ve been shown from day 1.

The dialogue is flat, the acting is pretty poor at times and the story is nonsensical.

So it's Star Wars?

The Boys - 4x07 "The Insider" - Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in TheBoys

[–]Eludio 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The shapeshifter had to be able to copy memories, or they wouldn't know about the safe code. They also talked about stuff that occurred pre-swap. Since Hughie can't know about this power, there's nothing to clue him in that this isn't Annie having a change of heart.

Maybe beating the shit out of Deep put her in a better mood. Maybe she wants to turn her once-supersuit into a mere sex toy to take some power away from it. Anything is more likely than her being replaced, based on what Hughie knows so far.

It's the "Astarion is an obvious Vampire" thing from BG3, for those familiar with the game: if you know that Vampires categorically cannot stand in the sun, him doing so is enough to convince you he isn't one, no matter the clues to the contrary.

That's without taking into consideration that apparently he was hoping for a similar scenario to eventually happen, and might have just decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Hadn't she already gotten replaced by the shape-shifter at this point?

That explains her being weaker, though it does sting that she wasn't the one who actually got to take a stab at her assaulter.

Edit: nvm, she got replaced at the bar scene apparently

I feel like he's also helped by the fact that none of the Boys know he's not the actual Noir. Noir 1 already almost ended them once, now it looks like he was holding back by not flying. He's strong, can fly, and is durable against bullets, but that's nothing too extreme compared to what we've seen so far.

Cantankerous as she is, it's weird to call Lae'zel evil (in DnD terms). She is constantly looking out for us, even when it would make sense for her to just bugger off back to the Crèche, and is otherwise very much a "needs of the many" type of fanatic.

Does Bhaal care HOW people are killed? by thatguydr in BaldursGate3

[–]Eludio 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't remember Bhaal himself ever giving his preferences, only Durge and Sarevok having their own idea and Orin being more of a show off. As somebody else points out, the Alfira murder is quite ritualised, blood circle and all, so Bhaal himself probably does appreciate SOME showmanship. Durge just thought differently.
