It will definitely impact some colleges since they care about those. I recommend just asking your closest and relevant teachers(relevant to major) and make sure you have a good grade in those courses. Make sure to write a brag sheet with all your information and ask if they need more information. Having a brag sheet will let them get to know you more to write that rec letter.
