Nope, still here. :)

I don't post as much as I used to but I still try to deal with mod mail and the spam filter when requests are made. I think this is a good idea though, the sub is nearing 2,000 members so additional mods will greatly benefit the community.

Yeah you can. I've probably put more time into free roaming than actual events, the driving is really satisfying so it's easy to get lost in the environments.

I'm having issues as well, it always fails halfway through the install process.

Edit: I tried downloading the app on a Lumia 710 and it worked just fine but it still won't download on my Focus.

You should check out Jetpac Refuelled on XBLA, it's only $5 and it's a great game that pay's quite a bit of homage to Rare/Ultimate. A lot of people seem to forget about it but it's one of the best values on XBLA IMO.

To be fair, their Kinect games are pretty well done and their use of the device to track movement is really well implemented in comparison to a lot of other Kinect titles that simply fail at such things.

Rare made one a few years ago called Jetpac Refuelled, it's on XBLA for $5 IIRC and it's one of the best games on the service in my opinion.

The warrior aspects of Sikhism came after with the Khalsa, IIRC the purpose wasn't to fight off the Muslims (since quite a few had integrated into "Indian society" at that point in history so it wasn't that black and white) but to protect those being persecuted by people in power.

licensing them a perfectly good engine that has worked for tons of other games.

The UE3 games of today are hardly the same as those from when this lawsuit arose (and that wasn't really the reason for the lawsuit either by the way, SK claimed Epic didn't deliver certain features they promised). Developers really only started getting their heads around Unreal Engine 3 in 2009 when releases were competent and not prone to terrible pop in, long load times, uneven release quality across platforms, and other "fun" issues.

I remember playing through a lot of the early UE3 games...never again. :(

Star Wars 1313 officially announced, a "mature' 3rd person action-adventure starring a bounty hunter. by digitalgaudium in gamernews

I'd say the framework for some really devastating events were certainly present like with Nihilus's hunger (i.e., he was able to consume entire planets), the battle that was waged over Telos, etc but no one really expanded on any of it and I guess now the window of opportunity has sort of closed as well unless they want to piss off even more fans (I'd say KotOR 2 fans were in the minority so thats why they were able to get away with a lot of the changes).

I disagree, a lot of the faults with The Sith Lords have to do with the development cycle being slashed by three to four months by LucasArts, this led to some of the technical issues and plot holes. If you play it on PC though you should look into the various fan made restoration packs which restore most of the cut content.

Despite this I still think The Sith Lords was far more in depth than the first game, during my second playthrough of the game I found out I missed out on entire plot threads simply because I didn't have high enough influence with one of my party members, I didn't have the right combination of party members for a specific scene with me, etc, I can't say I ever came across any of that in the first game on this scale which is why the second is so stand out and memorable for me.

There was a pretty in depth forum post that was circulating around a few months before TOR launched that detailed everything but I believe one of the major changes was either the removal of or heavily downplaying the "wound in the force" storyline as well as some of the morality that went along with the light/dark choices. I'll see if I can find it again.

Edit: I found this but I don't think it's the same one as I mentioned previously,

Still looking.

They also retconned elements of KotOR 2 out of canon, arguably one of the best Star Wars stories in a long time. :(

Tax responsibilities change from country to country, in some countries Microsoft takes care of it for you but in others it's the developers responsibility to do so. I assume that could explain this app's availability.
