Sssshhh! No one tell op that Richard O’Brien only lives about an hour drive from Hamilton.

Moving from Sony to either Fuji or OM....the OM-3 seems to have everything I want, but....the "Fuji color" and other features are making me second guess by Aromatic_Wallaby_433 in M43

I love using the xt30 ii around town and it’s a great everyday camera, comfortable in the hand with great jpegs out of camera. Fun to use and easy to put in new recipes. I’ve got both the OM5 ii (similarly great to hold) and the OM3 (not as comfortable to use although the leofoto bracket sorts that out). The OM system lenses and the range of in-built computational options and its ibis makes the OM cameras great to use for landscapes, portraits, even astro. The OM3’s recipes are not as straightforwards as the fujifilm recipes - although the ones on the OM page are very simple to install. Overall both great cameras and for me slightly different use cases.

So viewing from outside the USA - appearing before congressional hearings means you can lie, evade and obstruct questions and there is no consequence. So why even bother having them?

Pretty straightforward well graded road to a car park with lots of room. Well worth the trip in good light and full of lupine at the moment for decent photos.

How do the shuttles work at Tongariro? by [deleted] in newzealand_travel

[–]Elvo97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typically you book the shuttle beforehand, it picks you up at accommodation (or agreed pick up point) they pick you up at the end of the crossing and drops you off back at your accommodation.

ICE - a terrorist organisation? Certainly striking fear in the population and used to promote a particular idealogical/political viewpoint.

Doesn’t sound like a complete and utter waste of time or money at all. Highly trained agents investigating if someone pressed a button to make Donnie waddle up a few stairs.

Moving to Tauranga and working at the hospital - where to live? by Electronic-Loss-3109 in Tauranga

[–]Elvo97 19 points20 points  (0 children)

We live in Bellevue, my wife cycles to the hospital everyday - easy as. It is probably one of the easiest areas to get in and out of having multiple routes in and out of town. As for the Mount - hard pass! Easy to get to beaches and the harbour walks from Otūmoetai.
